片尾的故事跟片头的故事是重合的，片子内的几个故事发生有时间顺序但是叙述是没有按时间顺序来的，是一个环形的结构，里面的人物在不同的故事里面扮演不同的角色，一个故事里面的杀手是另一个故事里拯救别人的英雄，一个故事的主角在另一个故事里面一露面就被射杀了，我们看到某一疯狂的一幕在发生之前也有很有趣或者奇怪的原因促成等等~片子讲述的是美国当时下层人民的生活常态，就好像导演是随意抓取一幕场景，然后通过几个人物的线索讲清楚故事的因果，通过这样的方式让观众从另一个故事看到生活，有一点感悟。
电影不一定要有结局，就好像生活没有结局，故事只是循环往复。
