电影上映前两个月，配乐迟迟未敲定，导演助理告诉他，有个作曲家Yann Tierson最近满红的，回家路上放来听听看吧。
车子还没开到家，导演已不停惊叹：这就是我要的巴黎感觉
然而，当时年方30的Yann Tierson新专辑发行在即，无暇为整部电影作配乐，于是，导演由旧专辑挑选曲目，再加上Tierson15天之内赶工谱写的新乐段，《天使爱美丽》于是诞生。
