1．当我们陷入困境，似已无望，忽而绝处逢生时，常用陆游的诗句“_______________
桌子上摆着的《休闲生活随笔》一书，我先看了惠特曼的”在海边的一个冬日“，简简单单、一目了然的冬日空旷海边在惠特曼的笔下就是这个样子的描述。
我读了不止一遍。
（以下是书中的原文） 前不久，十二月的一天，天气晴朗我坐上坎登至大西洋城这条老铁路线的火车，历时一个多钟头就到了新泽西的海边，在哪里过了一个中午。

最后一段旅途，大约有五六英里，火车开进了一片广阔的盐泽草地：那里咸水湖交错，小河道纵横。
菅茅草的香味迎面扑来，使我想起了“麦芽浆”和我家乡南部的海湾。

从十一点到下午两点钟，我几乎都在海边，或者是看得见大海的地方，听大海的沙哑的低语，吸入凉爽、使人愉快的清风。

我朝着一个方向走去（见不到一个人），占有了一间小屋，看样子是海滨浴场的客厅，周围的景色，任我独揽----离奇有趣，使人心旷神怡，无遮无挡----我前后左右，都是一片菅茅草贺磁麻草----空旷，简朴而毫无装饰的空旷。
船在远方，再望远处，只能看见一艘向这儿驶来的轮船拖着一缕黑烟；海船，横帆双桅船更是清晰可见，其中大多乘着强劲的风、鼓扬着船帆。
海上，岸上，都充满了魅力，令人神往
它们的简朴，甚至它们的空旷，多么令人思量不绝啊
它们或间接或直接地在我心中唤起了什么呢
那伸延开的海浪，白灰色的海滩、海盐，都单调而无知觉----全然没有艺术，没有歌词，没有话语，也不风雅，这冬日却是无法形容地令人鼓舞，冷酷然而看上去却是如此柔美，如此超乎世俗，比我读过的所有的诗、看过的所有的画、听过的所有的音乐都更加深刻而难以琢磨地打动我的感情（但是，我要说句公道话，这也许正是因为我已经读过那些诗，也听过那种音乐吧）。
一共700多字的随笔，把新泽西州海滩海边的一个冬日魅力写的令人产生一种急于欣赏的心情，继而又沉入冷静的陶醉和想象。
