Hawaii has eight islands and is located in the middle of the pacific ocean. The whole group of islands is rising due to volcanic activity. Regarding the total height of Hawaii's highest point from sea bottom,Hawaii can be considered the highest rock mass in the world (9000 meters). For million of years the ocean bed of the pacific has been moving over a funnel of very hot magma. From great depth subsurface lava wells up. The lava is mounting up the volcanic islands until above the ocean surface. That way the Hawaiian Islands emerged. The precondition for the theory is that the hot-spot does not move at any time. The immoblility of the Hot-Spot applied as a fixed point for geology. The island chain of Hawaii - 3000 kilometers north west of the main island - is changing its direction to the north. This bend in the direction is to trace back for the fact that pacific ocean bed is changing its direction. This theory is based of magnetic minerals inside of basalt. The basalt was arised from magma, that was descended from the Hot-Spot. Inside of the liquid magma the minerals were aligned in the direction of the magnetic field of the earth. Last year, We traveled to Hawaii and it was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend my friends and my family to visit Hawaii. Four of the most well-known site we visited last year were the Hawaii Beach Science Museum, Hawaii Zoo, and National Park. Each of which is very fancinating. We lay down on the Beach enjoying the beautiful landscape and the relaxing environment, we explored our science knowledge in Science Museum. We also visited the National Park and the Hawaii Zoo, in which we found many animals very cute. The only downside of this trip was that sites were full of the crowded people, we had to wait hours to get through sometimes. Nevertheless, it was a memorable experience.
