Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it. First I want to ask you some questions: 1、 Do you know what is youth? 2、 How do you master your youth? Youth Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life . Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .女士们，先生们，下午好

担心，恐惧，自我–信任弓箭的心脏和精神蒙尘。

中国是个繁荣昌盛的国家，有着五千年辉煌灿烂的历史，2009-10-01祝福祖国当雄伟的天安门，迎来东升的太阳；当巍峨的华表，披上柔和的曙光。

中国人民从此站立起来了
历经了六十年的风风雨雨，2009年，中华人民共和国迎来了她六十岁的生日。
六十年，光辉岁月弹指一挥间；六十年，中华大地沧桑巨变。
而在我们这一代，更应扛起为中华崛起而读书的责任，将来长大后让我们的祖国更加富饶，永远傲立于世界东方。
