Be Thankful to Life -- A contented mind is a perpetual feast Life is difficult but colorful. Step by step I have learnt about this when I’ve grown up from a little, naive girl. Sometimes, we become sad or lose heart when facing difficulties. To get them over, the courage we need should come from ourselves rather than other people. Every morning, when we open our eyes, tell ourselves that every day, every minute, every breath, is a gift from god. Maybe someone near us has no opportunity to live till next morning. When the door of happiness closes, maybe another one opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we don’t see the one that has been opened for us. So dream whatever we want to dream; go wherever we would like to go; be whatever we want to be--because we have only one life and one chance to do all the things we intend to. Happiness lies in contentment. We still have our friends, our parents, and our lover even when we are abandoned by the world. We chase after happiness, when it is waiting all along for us. We human beings require enough trials to make us strong, enough sorrow to keep us humane; but more importantly, we need desire to encourage us to continue. So, appreciate our life, friendship and never give up. Life is full of happiness though difficult. Never say no to your life. It is yourself who can grasp your destiny. So just enjoy what the God endows you. Be thankful to your life. Be Happy to Enjoy Your Life We usually don’t think we are happy. Most of us always want to compare ourselves with others. We always say that we are not joyful. For example, we don’t have enough money to afford wonderful cars and houses; we are not as beautiful as so many superstars; we are not famous enough compared with Yao Ming and Liu Xiang; our husbands or wives are less romantic than others’. However, we have enough money to afford our food. Most of us are healthy to live, not concerning whether we can see the sun or not next day. We don’t have to live in the same lifestyle as the singers and the film stars which may be troublesome and uncomfortable, because they have to eat less and work all day to make their careers on the stage longer. Neither do we have to be known all over the world. The most important thing is that we should be happy to enjoy our life. Even if you have no reason to enjoy life now, enjoy it anyway. For joy is its own best reason. Open your eyes to the rich depth of this moment’s golden treasures. Right here and right now life overflows with richness. What a beautiful moment to live!
