Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it. First I want to ask you some questions: 1、 Do you know what is youth? 2、 How do you master your youth? Youth Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life . Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .女士们，先生们，下午好

青春不是生命的一段时光，它是一种精神状态；它不是红润的面颊，红色的嘴唇和柔软的膝盖，这是一个重要的情感：它是新鲜的；它是生命的深泉涌流。
青春意味着勇气驱走怯懦的禀性，冒险战胜安逸。
这往往存在于一个人的60多岁的男孩20。
人老不仅仅是岁月流逝。
不思进取。
岁月使皮肤起了皱纹，但放弃热情皱痕灵魂。
担心，恐惧，自我–信任弓箭的心脏和精神蒙尘。

With the development of technology,computers is going to every part of the world.I am so glad that I can stay with my computer which is more like my friends.Maybe as a student,most parents ban their children from playing with the computer.However,my parents don't.They agree me to play with the computer and even ask me to play it.Do you know why?Because they believe in me.I always use a computer to look through news on the Internet so that I can learn more about the world.I also play computer games from time to time.It can relax myself after tiring work.Thank you for your listening!

十月的阳光没有夏天的炽热炙人，也没有冬天的黯淡无光，而是灿烂而凉爽，又伴有一丝丝微风拂来，让人神清气爽。
伴随着进行曲悠扬的旋律，我们的第八届田径运动会渐渐拉开帷幕。
我和几个同学结伴找到一个“安顿点”后，开始欣赏比赛了。
随着一浪浪此起彼伏的加油声，我也被感染了，放下手中的审稿任务，站起来观看。
我瞪大了眼睛，屏住了呼吸——女子100米即将开始，十几名选手已在各自的跑道上做好了起跑的预备动作。
呯
发令枪响了，选手们瞬间如离弦之箭向前飞去。
我们班王颖一心想为班级争光，攒足了劲冲在最前面，可到了中途，却被0708班的章叶超过了。
她得了第二名。
全班为好喝彩。
我想起去年，也是同一个地点，同一时间，王颖在100米赛道上受了伤，可她依然跑完了全程。
今天，看到她站在领奖台上，我为我们班级自豪，如果人人都有王颖那种锲而不舍的精神，我们班又何能取得优异成绩呢
没过多久，我刚平静下来的心又以在一声枪响中绷紧了——男子100米又开始了。
我怎么能错过呢
我迅速站起来，只见明开已经向终点冲刺了，但在最后几米处，他遭遇了王颖一样的命运——被别的班的同学超过了，也只得了第二名。
我看见每一个运动员挥洒的汗水，看见了成功的笑容，也看见了苦涩的泪水，我亲眼见证了运动健儿飞跨终点的那一步，我见证的是艰辛，是磨炼，更是辉煌。
成功，是英雄；失败，亦是英雄。
其实，竞赛并没有永远的胜者和永远的败者，无论成败，你们都在赛场上留下过你们的汗与泪，事实证明你们努力后所绽放出来的花是独一无二的。
此时，我耳畔又响起枪声。
我徐徐抬起头，似乎又望见一个个胜利者飞跨过终点线……
