Usually they are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready. The younger cldren tnk that Father Christmas will come down the cmney or fireplace , so they hang up a sock for m to put presents in. The greedy ones even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents. Later that night, Father or Mother will put presents in the sock, and leave others at the side of the bed.在的十二月二十四日,所有的孩子很兴奋。

On Christmas morning, the cldren wake up very early. Some even turn on the light at two o‘clock, and most of them are awake by six o‘clock although it is not light in England for another hour or two at ts time of the year. Cldren look for their presents , and the young ones play wle the dinner is prepared. At about one o‘clock in the afternoon, the Christmas dinner is brought in . The turkey or ccken is suickly eaten . Cldren search in their Christmas pudding for new coins wch are dden in it . The rest of the day is full of games and eating until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.在圣诞节早上,孩子们很早就醒了。

英语学习方法 演讲稿的
1. 听写 就用你们的教材的课文和单词，争取每天至少听写30分钟，一定要一个词一个词的把听到的内容写下来。
最好听课文的进度稍稍领先于教师上课的进度，这样起到预习的效果，可能地话把坚持下去把每篇课文都听写下来。
然后把听写下来的东西熟读至烂熟，把自己最感兴趣的句子背下来。
2. 听讲 上课认真听老师的课，有问题及时问老师。
3. 多练 不用太多，只要把老师交给的材料都认真做了就够了。
4. 多看 这是一个扩展训练，在自己空闲的时候，可以找一些适合你当前水平的一些英语资料看，推荐，如果基础不很好，从新概念1开始看。
中学阶段很辛苦，时间很紧，能够做到上面已经很不容易了。
只要能按照上述方法坚持下去，不出1年你一定是你们班上英语让人羡慕的对象。
最重要的是要有毅力，要坚持
这里的听写一定不要认为只锻炼了听力，其实听、说、读、写、语法、单词、语感全在里面了，常见的单词一遍一遍听写后会烂熟，而且不会写错，生词会加深印象，而且很容易记住，能够听写下来的句子，一般几乎能够背出。
