但是，外国已研究出了非常先进的核武器，而在这方面，中国仍旧就是一个空白。
1958年党中央决定研制中国自己的核武器——原子弹。
这时，邓稼先站了出来，他毅然接受了研究原子弹的任务，当时，研究核弹的工作是非常危险的，但邓稼先决定要为国捐躯。
