Today I will act toward others as though this would be my last day on the earth. Today I will be unafraid . I will enjoy what is beautiful, and I will believe that as I give to the world will give to me . Whether these are the best of times or the worst of times , these are the only times we’ve got . Good afternoon everyone.Im Christina ,a student who is outspoken as you see from Class 9 Grade1.Today , I’d like to share with you some of my thoughts on patriotism and responsibilities of us. Sino-Japan problem is always a sensitive topic, a fuse which can trigger a serial of explosion. Some so-called patriots argue that buying domestic products is patriotism and proclaim that in particular all the Chinese should reject goods marked “made in Japan”. Those who are more extreme may smash or plunder a shop which sells Japan products or burn any Japanese car in the street no matter who owns it. Then, how about launch a war against Japan so that we can destroy that malicious disgusting nation which had invaded our mother land then unscrupulous deny the history written in black and white? What if a person, on one hand is a patriot from tip to toe and willing to sacrifice his life to his country if Japan dare to wage a war against China(if possible) while one the other hand he is a Japanese culture vulture? What if the shop the mob smashed is owned by a hard working Chinese businessman? Had they committed a crime? Are the masses just venting their discontentment which accumulates day by day because of the appalling unfairness in the reality? Is it true we just take Japan or international trade as an outlet? Patriotism is not nationalistic fever, not intense ethnic emotion. We need to calm down and differentiate ethnical frenzy and moderate sober patriotism. In addition, there is always danger to ignore the real problematic issue such as political corruption, academic plagiarism, educational unfairness, and social classes polarizing which are screaming for our attention and should be our priority. As loyal Chinese citizens, we must have a strong sense of responsibility to our country. I t is our duty to keep China strong in the eyes of the world. Therefore, we should study and work hard for China's strongness which also depends on the advanced science and technology. We must be willing to join the Army and defend our country, would we be threatened by an invader. In short, to be a responsible citizen ,we must put our country's welfare above our own needs. 中意删几段即可

脱口秀是美国电视节目的一种特定意义上的节目形式。
一般是主持人的访谈节目，两个人，一个主持人，一个嘉宾。
好比中国的《实话实说》，当然《实话实说》更多时候不止两个人。
也可以是主持人一个人坐在那里神吹胡侃，好比什么呢，好比……还想不出来，这种节目好像在国内没有见到过，也就是世界杯那会儿，上海电视台体育频道推了个类似的节目，名字记不起来了。
名字是《G乐体育》—《G乐世界杯》。
喜欢脱口秀。
更喜欢看脱口秀节目。
觉得即使一个人英语再好，说的再溜，如果看不懂美国的脱口秀节目，想其水平也只能算个初级水平，包括大学里所谓的英语专家，以及那些英语权威们。
你不信把一台能收到美国一号电视台的电视机放在那些英语权威面前，让他对着电视里的脱口秀节目跟你解释解释，翻译翻译，有几个能跟上的
当然他们的语法教的还是不错的，能够指出lookforwardto后面不能跟动词原形。

但是以前没有时间，也没有机会去看美国的电视。
直到装了宽带。
因为宽带，可以下载美国电视频道的流媒体文件。
可以通过流媒体在线收看到美国电视上的一些SALE，CLEARANCE的广告什么的。
起初收看美国电视一台的时候，发现除了一些天天都重复的广告以外，还有一些新闻，时不时蹦出来的BREAKINGNEWS可能是国际国内突发大事比如911什么的，也有LOCAL车祸交通的紧急报道。
看新闻，大家一般都看看LOCAL又发生什么杀人放火啊，这个恐怕天天都会有，不要紧张习惯了就好，还有就是天气预报了。
至于美国的脱口秀节目，其实从早到晚都有一大堆，你要是不熟悉，可以随便上网找一个耐心的美国人给你介绍一分钟就可以了。
比较有名的当然要属ABC的Oprah了，她谈的东西相对比较轻松，谁又出新书了，社会道德了，名人拍什么新电影啦，她比较狠，收拾率最高保持了许多年，在《Brian英语狂聊》里面，有一小节谈到这个女人。
其次有NBC的Rosie，是个比较胖的女人，好像听谁说过她是个同性恋，而且还轰动一时，不知道有没有因为这个事情收视率有所上升
相对于她们俩更深刻一点的有Srpinger，他是个脱口秀的大腕，内容五花八门，什么变性、鸡奸、乱伦、吸毒等等都有。
上面说的几个节目时间一般都在白天（美国时间），晚上的脱口秀节目相对更精彩一些了，比如有CBS的Letterman，还有Conan了，比较幽默，而且什么都敢骂，从克林顿到小布什他爹都被骂遍过。
之所以在《Brian的英语世界》里加这个部分，是因为第一次从美国电视里真正了解到一般的美国人在看什么，在关心什么，就像在中国的美国人也有看我们的《实话实说》一样（我觉得和晶主持的也很好，更理性，只是幽默感比小崔少了一些），他们可以通过这个了解到我们的一个侧面，学习到我们的语言文化。
