各位领导、各位来宾、老师们、同学们： 大家好
今天是我们学校开学典礼的日子。
在这个十分激动值得纪念的日子里，我谨代表全体学生向学校各位领导、老师及全体教职员工致以崇高的敬意
我们学校是一所历史悠久、、教学科研力量雄厚的学校。
在“重教勤学、尊师爱生、艰苦奋斗、求实创新”校训的激励下，经过艰苦拼搏，我们学校大人才辈出，硕果累累。
我们有幸成为其中的一名学生，心中感到无比自豪。
同学们， 学习机会来之不易，我们应当倍加珍惜，学有所成。
在今后的学习过程中我们应该做到： 第一、明确目标、虚心好学、博采众长 我们的学习是高层次的学习，这种定位要求我们必须树立明确的专业目标，首先应该掌握好自己的专业知识，而且要掌握求取知识的方法。
不仅要完成自己的课程学习，而且应该有意识的培养锻炼自己独立的逻辑思维能力；不仅要深入学习本专业、本学科，而且要广泛涉猎其它领域。
只有博大，才能精深，这样我们才能成为一名既精通本专业又相关知识丰富的名符其实的高层次社会工作者。
第二、学以致用、勇于开拓、善于创新 我们知道现代社会越来越注重能力的提高，而不再是资历、学历。
我们不仅要掌握专业知识，更应具备运用专业知识的能力。
在认知过程中学会思考、学会实践，始终遵循实践——认识——再实践——再认识的认识运动总规律。
同时我们应该培养自己的创新能力、协作能力、交流能力和管理能力，而不是只局限在书本知识之中。
第三、提高素质、加强修养、接受挑战 没有高尚的道德情操，不可能成为一名真正能推动社会进步的人。

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation. 今天，我高兴地同大家一参加这次将成为我国历史上争取自由而举行的最伟示威集会。
Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. In a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable Rights of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked insufficient funds. 从某种意义上说，我们来到国家的首都是为了兑现一张支票。

Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. And those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. And there will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. 忽视这一时刻的紧迫性，对于国家将会是致命的。

We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed. 我并非没有注意到你们有些人历尽艰难困苦来到这里。
