AdvertisementWell, today I'd like to talk about the advertisement. When it refers to the function of advertisement, people's opinions are divergent on such a controversial issue. Some people believe that advertising encourages us to buy things that we don't need; others, however, takes the negative attitude. From personal perspective, I agree with the statement that advertisements waste our money and energy in varies of ways. The main reason for my propensity is that the basic purpose of advertisements is stimulating consumption. Advertisement, as an instrument of the manufacturers, has its inherent functions such as introducing new commodities and attracting potential customers. No one can deny that all the images and sounds the ads provide are conveying only one thing that owning the commodity you see or hear will make your life better no matter whether it is true or not. A case in point has association with soap. In the soap ads, advertisers always draw a picture of a happy family who use that kind of soap and, gradually, make us believe we'll have a happy family by using the product. In fact, however, there's no logical association between a soap and a happy life. Another equally essential factor why I advocate ads are harmful involves children. With the advancement of modern society, media, such as newspaper, magazines, radio and television, have played a significant role in the realm of advertisement. Our life is filled with ads which provides ideas about style, morality, and behaviour. But overextended advertising will be harmful, especially for children. Many commercials are deliberately written to create s desire of children for unnecessary products, such as sugar coated cereals and candy. Children are not matured enough to distinguish useful from useless on their own. The ads force children and the children fore adults to buy the useless commodities. Admittedly, we should concede that despite the despite the disadvantages of the commercials mentioned above, there're some advantages of ads. Firstly, ads give us much information of the new product like, the advanced technology that used in computers. Also, they help us to make quick decision when we are choosing things.Weighing the pros and cons of advertisements, I strongly agree with the declaration that ads do harm to our life, not only because their purpose is stimulation consumption, but also because they encourage us to buy useless products.

也许在大多数人看来生活委员一职并不如班长工作那么重要，也不如团支书工作那么明确具体，在班委会中的影响似乎不大。
但我并不这样认为，生活委员在整个班集体中有着不可替代的重要的作用
我们每个人都是大家庭的一员，而生活委员作为班级的管家，更起到了组织整体、关怀细节的作用。
