There is no doubt that the magic of chip capability has delivered through the advance in microprocessor allows us to think of application which never would have been possible before.The PC industry is one of the few industries that can deliver lower price equipment at the same time as improving the capabilities. The storage systems are now delivering Gigabyte of storage as the standard capability. Over 80 million of PCs are being sold a year. And the server market, the higher performance machines that these PCs networked with, are the fastest growing part of this business. The performance of those servers is increasing not only because the individual processors are faster, but also because we are using multiple-processor machines, so called SMP designs and clustering nodes together.……Great chips, systems developers, partners who are sponsoring [3] this event, making this all possible. There is an incredible opportunity for developers. The applications that are written today will sell to an even larger base of machines out in the market. There is a lot that we're doing to increase the work of good developers-make sure they understand where the PC is going and how tools can help them now, more and more marketing type of activities making sure they got in with the customers. This is something that we are going to increase year after year.The overall [4] DNS message is one about helping developers seize that opportunity by bringing together the different architectures, making things automatic and allowing this to be done in an evolutionary fashion. 学习雷锋演讲稿 首先我要说的，是一件已经过去但并不遥远的事。
1979年12月，北京，冰晶雪莹的龙潭湖畔，溜冰的人群伴着欢笑声穿梭般地飞驰着。
突然，一处冰层断裂，惊呼声中，一个身影消失在冰层下的湖水里。

万分危急
然而，人群中，有的散去，有的象冻结了一样，无人上前搭救，我站曹怀良等4名同志闻讯飞奔过来。
此时，一些人竟然发出”大兵，快冲啊，立功的时候到了“的喊声。
面对冷潮热讽，这4名同志没有退却，不顾一切地跳入冰冷刺骨的湖水，救出了一个中学生。
9年后，1988年11月1日，在紧挨着龙潭湖的护城河，一名妇女落水，岸上也有众多的围观者，指手画脚，议论纷纷，仍无人上前搭救。
这时候，我正好经过这里，见此情景，我毫不犹豫地跳入冰冷恶臭的河水中，将她救了上来。
为此，我荣立了三等功。
1989年3月，我被评为“首都见义勇为十青年”之一。
我觉得，我只是做了一点我应该做的事，处在那种情况下，我相信，有良知的人都是会这样做的。
面对这些荣誉，我心中一直不平静，反复地思考着，想了许多许多……我想，以前，大家一定看到或听到过这样的报道：面对邪恶，有人挺身而出，但围观者却无人相助，看着他倒在血泊中；有人落水了，要下去救吗
那好，拿钱来，要现钱，先交钱……每当看到听到这些，热血就在我周身奔腾——难道人们就这样麻木吗
我还想，如果那天我不路过河边，落水的妇女将会怎样，那些把立功机会让给我的围观者，是出于对解放军的信任和偏爱吗
我还想，人，是要有一点精神的，我们的国家，我们的民族是要有一点精神的。
那么，这个精神在哪里，不仅是我，而是整个社会都在寻找，都在呼唤。
这个精神，就是同志所倡导的“五种革命精神”，这个精神，就是雷锋精神
我生活在北空气象勤务站这个学习雷锋的先进集体当中。
雷锋，这个伟大的共产主义战士的名字，对于现代青年人来说，已经很陌生了，在几度泛起的“人都是自私的”、“学雷锋是一个痛苦的现实”、“雷锋精神过时了”等等谬论的风尘中，似乎被淹没了。
但是在我们站里，十几年来，学雷锋活动从未间断，全体官兵一直以雷锋为榜样，大力发扬雷锋精神，走雷锋成长的道路。
近10年来，我站官兵5次抢救落水者，危难时刻挺身而出；3次灭火，抢救国家和人民群众的生命财产；6次斗歹徒，同违法乱纪的不良倾向作斗争。
全站有220多人次被评为学雷锋先进个人。
我站连续10年被评为北京市拥政爱民先进单位，先后22次受到团中央、总政、空军的通报表彰，荣立了集体二等功。
生活在这样的环境中，我受到熏陶，受到感染，思想上发生了很大的变化。
我暗暗地下决心，沿着雷锋成长的道路前进，发扬我站的好传统，为我军争光。
于是，在我思想上严格要求自己，努力做好本职工作，平时注意从点滴小事做起，向战友向军营向人民群众奉献我的光和热。
我是一名气象实况员，为了象雷锋那样，练就过硬本领，准确、迅速地提供气象情报，在刚开始学习专业技术的时候，每天天不亮就起床，背起各种天气、符号、意义及其它业务，平时抓紧一切可以利用的时间，苦练抄报、填图。
在日常生活中，我严格要求自己，发扬艰苦朴素、艰苦奋斗的好传统，在生活上，向标准低的同志看齐，在工作上，向标准高的同志看齐。
我经常利用业余时间和节假日修旧利废，想方设法为集体节约资金，几年来，修理门窗、桌椅、水管和自行车累计达数百件。
在个人生活上，能省就省，从不乱花一分钱，吃饭时打最便宜的菜，穿的都是部队发的衣服。
有些同志说我“抠”、“小气”。
的确，我的家庭生活不富裕，但我绝不“小气”。
丰台区石榴三小学聘请我当校外辅导员，为了孩子们的学习，我花了近百元买了笔和本送给他们。
我认为这些钱花得有意义、有价值。
搞好精神文明建设是每一个军人的义务，以实际行动促进社会风气的好转是每一个军人的责任。
我自学了修鞋技术，带领几名同志成立了修鞋小组，经常在营区或到“共建点”、公园门口、驻地街道等地摆摊设点义务修鞋。
当我们听到一声“空军的又来修鞋了”，心头增添了几分自豪；当我们解除了他人的不便，听到一声“谢谢”，一天的疲劳顿消。
几年来。
我共修鞋1000多双。
当然，社会不象我们想象的那样简单。
我们为社会服务，做点好事，有的人就说：现在社会发展了，是商品经济社会了，许多人都在想法赚钱，你们还义务修鞋不要钱，当什么“活雷锋”，这不是“冒傻了”吗
也有些人认做这点好事微不足道。
但是，我不这样看，我认为，社会经济发展了，更要发扬优良传统和雷锋精神，否则，这个社会就要堕落。
我们应该懂得：人们如果只讲索取，不讲奉献，社会就倒退，只有当人们的奉献大于索取的时候，社会才能发展，才能进步。
因此，一个有理想的人，不能只讲索取，不讲奉献和义务。
从具体的事情看，我们做的都是一件件小事，假如大家都能向社会奉献这个小小的“一”，就能汇成强大的社会力量；要是大家量小事而不为，连这个小小的“一”都不去奉献。
那么，这个社会将等于“零”。
如果把我们这些做法和想法说成是“傻”，其实正是我们的光荣。
可以想象：一个平时连尽点义务的事都不愿做，又何谈在关键时刻为祖国献出自己的生命呢
这样的民族还有什么希望呢
是的，在我生活的行列里，大家都读了《雷锋的故事》、《雷锋日记》，为弘扬正气，光大雷锋精神，尽了一份责任。
在通向美好未来的道路上，我，你，他，我们大家，我军的每一位官兵，都是雷锋的战友。
在新的历史时期我们要“把有限的生命投入到无限的为人民服务之中去”，为着我们的社会主义祖国去无私奉献。
青年战友们，让我们沿着雷锋同志成长的道路坚定地走下去，百折不挠，永不回头
因为，我们的时代需要千万个雷锋
