Today, economy is advancing at a fast pace and together with it, the climate. Greenhouse gases is getting more and more and the world ，with its rising temperature, is having a 'fever. Due to the icebergs melting rapidly, the sea level is increasing and who knows when it will drown some of the islands and wipe out civilizations ? Natural disasters are all taking place more often than not. So, is there no help at all? What can we do to slow down the pace of global-warming? First of all, we can use the clean energy which will not pollute the air , the ground or the sea. Some examples are the solar energy, the wind energy and the wave energy. Secondly, we can plant more trees . One way in which the tree can help is that it takes in carbon dioxide , a greenhouse gas, and releases oxygen instead. Isn't this killing two birds with one stone? Lastly, we can reduce the use of cars and walk instead. The cars let off exhaust gases and pollute the earth. If we use our legs instead, we can do our part on saving the earth and even exercise at the same time!

今天我要说的话题是动物。
我一直认为动物是人类的朋友，它们不会像人类那么复杂，而且常常给我们带来欢乐。
I am very glad to give a speech today. The topic of my speech is the animal. I always think that animals are the friends of mankind. They are not so complicated as human beings, and they can bring us plenty of happiness sometimes. 从我小时候起，就一直养着动物。
比如猫，狗，鸭子等等。
虽然有时候会觉得喂养它们很麻烦，但是每次想到平日里它们带给我全家的快乐，就会觉得很多辛苦都值得。
你可以试想，当你拖着疲惫的身子回到家时，狗狗快乐的摇着尾巴向你扑来。
那种很温馨的感觉，是只有宠物才能带来的。
Since I was a child, I have been keeping animals, such as cats, dogs, ducks and so on. Sometimes I feel a little troublesome to feed them, but everytime I think about the happiness they have brought to my family, I will find that it is worth doing it in spite of so much hard working. You can imagine that, when you come home with your tired body, dogs are rushing at you and swinging their tails happily. That kind of warm feeling can be only brought by the pets. 不论是家养动物，还是野生动物，都是很可爱的。
可是现在却有那么多人用残忍的手段伤害它们。
我对这种人简直难以理解。
你可以不喜欢它，甚至可以讨厌它，但是你没有权利伤害它。
Both the domestic animals and the wild animals are lovely. However, they are being treated cruelly by lots of people at present. I can't understand those people. You may not like animals, even you could hate them, but you have no rights to hurt them. 每个生命都是平等的，每个生命都有快乐的生活的权利。
人类不能为了私欲而伤害那些无辜的生命。
Every life of the living creatures is equal. Every life of them has the right to live happily. Human beings mustn't hurt those innocent creatures for our personal desire. 动物们把我们当作朋友，我们也应该让它们有一个幸福的生活。
Animals regard us as their friends, so we should let them enjoy their happy lives too.
