As we can see today, environmentalists from different countries are making joint efforts to address the issue of global warming, economists are seeking solutions to financial crises that rage in a particular region but nonetheless cripple the world’s economy, and diplomats and politicians are getting together to discuss the issue of combating terrorism. Peace and prosperity has become a common goal that we are striving for all over the world. Underlying this mighty trend of globalization is the echo of E. M. ”With the IT revolution taking place, traditional boundaries of human society fall away. Our culture, politics, society and commerce are being sloshed into a large melting pot of humanity. In this interlinked world, there are no outsiders, for a disturbance in one place is likely to impact other parts of the globe. We have begun to realize that a world spanided cannot endure.随着IT产业的出现，传统的人类社会分界线也随之消失。

China is now actively integrating into the world. Our recent entry to the WTO is a good example. For decades, we have taken pride in being self-reliant, but now we realize the importance of participating in and contributing to a broader economic order. From the precarious role in the world arena to our present WTO membership, we have come a long way.中国现在正积极地融入世界，前不久加入世贸就是一个很好的例子。

Instead of narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor, they say, globalization enables developed nations to swallow the developing nations’ wealth in debts and interest. Globalization, they argue, should be about an earnest interest in every other nation’s economic health.但是前方的路又将如何

We are reminded by Karl Marx that capital goes beyond national borders and eludes control from any other entity. This has become a reality. Multinational corporations are seeking the lowest cost, the largest market, and the most favorable policy. They are often powerful lobbyists in government decision-making, ruthless expansionists in the global market place and a devastating presence to local businesses.卡尔·马克思提醒我们，资本跨越国界，便会逃离对象国政治实体的管制，这一点已成为现实。

Like many young people my age in China, I want to see my country get prosperous and enjoying respect in the international community. But it seems to me that mere patriotism is not just enough. It is vitally important that we young people do more serious thinking and broaden our minds to bigger issues. And there might never be easy answers to those issues such as globalization, but to take them on and give them honest thinking is the first step to be prepared for both opportunities and challenges coming our way. And this is also one of the thoughts that came to me while preparing this speech. Thank you!和中国的许多同龄人一样，我期待着我的祖国变得繁荣，受到国际社会的尊重。

Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. The reason why they are discrepancy is that there are great deals of cultural segmentations in the United States, so that they can not make a clear choice. In a sense, one in China does not have this trouble. In old times, going to college was a significant achievement both in the two countries. But once higher education became widely available, it ceased to carry the dame weight. Not only in China but also in America, people make it seem that admission to a college ranked higher than another is crucial. Now, parents and their children have to face to the problem “which one is the best?” In China, the best ones are usually nation universities, which is opposite to America. As we know, stellar and elite universities are most private, especially Ivy League schools. Some time even you find a proper university; the field of study will still be another problem. As extremely small, elusive qualities are subject to analysis, the results are bound to be uncertain and contradictory, leading parents to an even deeper analysis.

Americans, however, have not been well trained in either area and, consequently, have not enjoyed the same level of success in negotiation in an international arena as have their foreign counterparts.Negotiating is the process of communicating back and forth for the purpose of reaching an agreement. It involves persuasion and compromise, but in order to participate in either one, the negotiators must understand the ways in which people are persuaded and how compromise is reached within the culture of the negotiation.In many international business negotiations abroad, Americans are perceived as wealthy and impersonal. It often appears to the foreign negotiator that the American represents a large multi-million-dollar corporation that can afford to pay the price without bargaining further. The American negotiator's role becomes that of an impersonal purveyor of information and cash.In studies of American negotiators abroad, several traits have been identified that may serve to confirm this stereotypical perception, while undermining the negotiator's position. Two traits in particular that cause cross-cultural misunderstanding are directness and impatience on the part of the American negotiator. Furthermore, American negotiators often insist on realizing short-term goals. Foreign negotiators, on the other hand, may value the relationship established between negotiators and may be willing to invest time in it for long-term benefits. In order to solidify the relationship, they may opt for indirect interactions without regard for the time involved in getting to know the other negotiator.Commercial activity propels the advancement of human material and spiritual civilization.
