Good morning\\\/afternoon\\\/evening every one. Excuse me to be so casual，but my speech today, my topic today is so serious. It's so serious that I have to be more relaxed, to make a relaxing atomasphere for all of you.I want to talk about a unavoidable social issue nowadays -- gays in China. I want to appeal for them. They need to be protected, accepted and respected.What is a gay? You may give an answer with a sly smile on your face. So let me give the answer myself. A gay is a man who always love another man. These men are not common, but they truly live in the world and in China and they live in that dark corner of the world and in the dark corner of China. They don't dare to get out of the closet; they don't dare to tell any other people their special identities; they don't dare to share their joy or pain with their ordinary friends. Gay men bear a lot more pain them ordinary ones because they live in loneliness, or they will encount prejudice and be bullied by some tough guys. They live humble lives. Some are inferior. They have to face the danger of being infected by HIV. Thus, I want to say that gay men need protection. At least, they should not be bullied by some guys who looked down upon them. Also they need to be protected from the HIV. Although sometimes they don't behave themselves, it doesn't mean that the government then can get rid of all the duties. Condoms should be more easily available to gay men. They need such kind of protection for being a HIV-infected case will bring about more sorrow.(pause for a while)Many people may wonder why a person should feel sexual appeal for the same sex. To these people, it's a mysterious question, which they can never get the answer. However, I quite understand gay men and their feelings. In fact, gay's love is just like love between man and woman. They live; they love; they die. You see, an ordinary person lead the same life; Live, love and die. In the Bible there is a piece of statement about love. It says that love is to bear and to show mercy but not to jealous; love is not to be aggresive but to be honest. It doesn't mention that love it the love the opposite sex, right? Gay men's love is also a kind of love. It's natural. Gay men and their love should be accepted. In China,some people still exclude them. I hope they will change their mind to show mercy and care.(pause for a while)Now is the last problem which I want to talk about. That is to respect gays. This is the most difficult but the most important one. Gays as humans, he should be respected. That is an essential thing. Maybe others can't agree with them, but it doesn't mean they can despise them. For this part there is a lot to say, but I want to do is to take some action. The saying goes actions speak louder than words. That is why I stand here and give the speech today. I respect them, as a ordinary one. I respect them.
