The Outlook For China's EconomyChina, the world's second largest economy by purchasing power parity, contributed over 10% to global economic output in 2007 and 2008 and is thus a key part of any recovery of the global economy. China faced a severe deceleration of growth in the second half of 2008 based on a number of indicators: GDP, production of electricity, the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI), weakness of auto sales, a fall in residential home sales, manufacturing data and falling imports and exports. In fact, calculated on a quarter-by-quarter basis like most other countries, Chinese growth (which is reported only on a year-on-year basis) was practically zero and even negative by some private sector estimates. However, there are greater signs of economic recovery in March from the depths of the fourth quarter of 2008, and most forward-looking indicators suggest that from the second to the fourth quarter of 2009, growth will accelerate relative to the dismal fourth quarter of 2008 and weak first quarter of 2009. The more optimistic outlook for Chinese growth would require a recovery in the global economy, especially the U.S., in the second half of 2009, a development that seems more likely to come in 2010. It seems too soon to point to an economic recovery, particularly in the absence of a rebound in demand from the G-3 economies (the U.S., European Union and Japan) that absorb most of Chinese exports.There are other risks to this scenario. First, the Chinese policy stimulus could turn out to be insufficient, and further stimulus could be delayed. Second, if a drugged recovery--via easy money, loose fiscal policy and easy credit--leads to further over-capacity (of which there is some evidence), it could result in rising non-performing loans, falling profits or rising losses.Furthermore, although indicators of private consumption like retail sales have remained relatively robust, they are growing at a slower pace compared to the second half of 2008. The extent of job losses and falling incomes as well as negative consumer confidence may slow consumption further going forward, particularly in urban areas, despite government incentives.Despite the fact that China's aggressive policy response included monetary easing, a scaling up of bank lending and a particularly aggressive scaling up of government investment to offset the contraction in private demand, there is an increased risk that China will grow only in the 5% to 6% range year-on-year in 2009, about half its average growth of the previous five years, and well below potential. Such a growth rate would increase pressures on China's government, as the hard landing has been accompanied by job losses and factory closures as well as implying that Chinese commodity demand could continue to be lower than recent trends.

People of about 1.3billion live and work together on the land.56 nations make up the whole population of China.As is know to anybody, China has a long history of 5000 years, which turns out rich culture and special style. It’s said that every corner of Chinese ancient history was filled with varieties of prominent art works. All this influences people here by giving them a lot of feelings, experiences, images and ideas about life. But China also had a troubled past since 1840. She saw a lot: Xinghai Revolution against feudal dynasty in 1911,the anti—Japanese war during 1937—1945, the civil war broken out in 1946.Most big events brought pains, poverty to Chinese people, but they never gave in . Oppositely, people learnt not to weep when faced the hardship. They were taught to be strong enough to solve each problem. It’s the troubled time that create the valuable character for Chinese people. Finally they were succeed in rebuilding and developing the motherland.China was founded as an independent country named People’s Republic of China in 1949 . After that, it began to its door to the world and built bridges of friendship with many other countries. Since then, China set its steps of fast development on all the sides, especially in the field of science and technology.We can say that new Chinese history is filled with great achievements. To exploring space, the CSA has developed the highly successful Long March rocket series. At present the scientists are preparing for the nation’s first manned space flight flying to the moon. Robots: Future Technologies and How They Will Effect Us. （未来的科技对我们的影响---机器人）What will life be like in fifty years? Will our home life be more comfortable? Will our jobs become easier? Will our health become better due to new technology? It is most likely to turn out this way. According to scientist, robots will be doing our yard work, taking over some of our jobs, and monitoring our health on a daily basis. Does this sound unbelievable? This might just be the kind of world our grandchildren will grow up in. It's hard not to think about having our lives changed by the introduction of these new gadgets. As for the household aspect, computers will make our daily drudgery of housework dramatically more interesting. In the next decade robots should be cleaning our floors, mowing our lawns, and even cleaning our pools at the touch of a button. Who can imagine what advancements the next fifty years will bring. Home life is not the only thing that will be effected by the growth of technology. Jobs will go from spine busting manual labor to sitting behind a control panel. An example of this might be a HVAC system on a large office building. Technology will probably advance to the point of micro chips being placed into their systems, and when a problem is detected a signal we be sent to eliminating not only the problem, but also hours in manual troubleshooting. Experts say that manual labor will be all together eliminated by the year 2050.(Reed 3) The teaching profession will also be drastically effected. Electronic books could replace textbooks and even teachers. The transportation industry will also see a decrease in human workers. With the use of magnetic tracks, and computer driven shuttles and busses people will be transported safely and more efficient then humans ever could. Health could be one of the most important subjects for the future, it is also the most advanced. Our health will have the ability to be constantly be monitored. Our alarm clocks will to report your hydration level and signal the refrigerator to prepare you a drink.(Gorman 2) Our toothbrushes will be observing our mouth for gum disease, tooth decay, and abnormal cells. All this with out being aware of the tasks being preformed. How about a microscopic robot sent into the blood stream to search for abnormalities. These microscopic machines, about the size of a germ, will be able to take internal vital signs and organize the data back to a mainframe computer implanted in your skin. Have these inventions piqued your interest? Have they got you wondering what the future holds? If you think back just ten years and look at the technology compared to today's it is unbelievable to think how far we have came. Although the future is unpredictable we can count on the evolution of these machines.
