范文9General Introduction I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program. Education background In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test. At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77\\\/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of Excellent Graduation Thesis. Research experience and academic activity When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product. In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

Worry is a phenomenon which depletes energy and divides attention--leaving you incapable of giving your best in the moment.The only way to give a 100% of yourself to the moment at hand is to be totally present in the moment, without thinking of what's gone by or what is still to come--both cases where you have no say or control anyway.Performing the action totally and to the best of one's ability brings back a positive result based on the law of karma, commonly expressed: As you sow, so shall you reap - a result which would not be possible had you divided your inner being with worry.The second secret of happiness is to perform actions based on careful thought and planning, without worry.3. Give as Much to others as You Want for Yourself, Expect Little in Return (Giving doesn't mean giving 'things.')It is important for your happiness to come to the awareness that it is your own expectations and pre-conceived ideas and hopes, which when frustrated, cause most of your pain and agony.Once this understanding is stabilized within you, you begin to live for the moment, and within yourself instead of seeking outward or external reinforcements for your self-esteem or happiness.It is not enough for you to be a passive spectator of your life, you need to also be willing to give and share freely of your best qualities without waiting for a similar return.It is both wise and practical to remember the advice of numerous spiritual masters that It is in the giving that we receive. The free giving of yourself without strings attached bring both peace and contentment in the long run.The third secret of happiness is to give and expect little in return. The adage As you sow, so shall you reap, applies. Sow happiness and you shall reap happiness.

怎么自学瑜伽

首先不知道现在在那个阶段。

如果是初学者的话:最好还是能找到一个老师来带,有老师的话,在练习过程中有任何问题可以及时得到纠正,另一些具有危险性的动作可以得到保护。

谨记一点:在任何瑜伽课堂上,坚持非暴力原则,不要去做自己做不到的体位。

同一个体位,针对不同学员身体状态,专业的瑜伽教练都会提供备用方案,采取辅助工具,或降低体位难度。

身体是自己的,受伤也是自己的,请一定要谨慎。

初学者自学的话,从基础开始好好坚持,比如山式、树式、拜日式,都是看起来很简单但是回味无穷的基础体位,值得好好琢磨、多多练习。

所谓的瑜伽伤,大多数是错误的体式导致的,所以初学者最大的追求应当是不出错。

而不是追求难度,追求效率,为达到某一个“标准”导致动作变形。

哈他瑜伽非常适合初学者练习:缓慢深长,给足够的时间,去熟悉每一个动作之间的关联,以及专注于呼吸与肌肉的发展。

好的瑜伽老师一定会在基础体式上下很多工夫,做到反复、熟练、觉知。

特别推荐两本瑜伽书,无论是初学者还是高级练习都可以用:来自艾扬格《瑜伽之光》和《瑜伽之树》,前者堪称瑜伽体式的教科圣经,每一个动作分解得及其精准。

后者讲他练习瑜伽的一些经历和心得,可以作为入门读本。

对于高级练习者,系统学习瑜伽有以下两个方面可以切入,暂时用“文武”来概括:“武”——体位,目前大部分瑜伽馆都提供相关训练课程。

但是光有体位练习是不够的,那只是瑜伽当中非常小的一部分。

按照瑜伽的八支分法:1、制戒 Yama,指为改进外在行为所需遵守的行为规范,自制。

包括:非暴力、诚实、不偷盗、节欲和不贪婪。

2、内制 Niyama,指为改善内心环境,每天实际应做到的行为规范。

包括纯净、自足、自律、内省和向神的臣服。

3、体式 Asana,指让人感觉舒适并能长久保持的身体姿势。

体式给身体带来健康和轻盈,稳定的体式也可以带来内心和精神的宁静。

4、呼吸控制 Pranayama,对呼吸的延长和控制。

主要包括对吸气、呼气、吸气与呼气之间的停顿(内悬息)、呼气与吸气之间的停顿的控制(外悬息)。

5、制感 Pratyahara,指通过控制感官,使练习者从对外关注转移到向内在专注的状态。

6、专注 Dharana,指意识集中在一点,大脑不再波动,而是集中在一个事物上,是进入冥想的初始步骤。

7、冥想 Dhyana,指意识能长久的集中,并不会被外在的事物所干扰,此时对事物的理解和认知会从表面逐渐深入到本质。

8、入定 Samadhi,在入定的阶段,不再有具体的冥想对象,而是意识进入到空灵的状态。

身体和感官都处于一种休息的状态,心灵隐藏的力量被逐渐开启,体悟到生命的最高智慧。

瑜伽的最高境界是三摩地。

体式只是辅助和基础,是为达到三摩地而做的准备,因此在现代瑜伽的课程里,还需要“文”的练习,包括:1)理论知识运动解剖学,帮助避免因为不恰当的体式而受伤经络学,帮助充分了解体位的含义中医基础理论,其实也是相通的2)心灵练习持戒:帮助身体维持一个比较纯净的状态,保持体式练习的能量。

瑜伽和佛教本身就相当有渊源。

平时可以听一些佛教讲座(推荐净空法师的演讲,下载喜马拉雅听书搜索一下就出来了,很多)也可以帮助保持一个平和的心态。

打坐:养成每天打坐的习惯,培养专注的能力。

之所以说体式是基础,因为没有好的身体是很难做到专注的。

以前每次打坐都会瞌睡,要么就容易胡思乱想,还是因为身体不平衡导致能量受阻。

现在普通人,大部分只能达到制感与专注的境界,少数人可以达到冥想。

唱诵:咒语本身带有一定的能量,练习能帮助进入专注的状态。

网上有一些瑜伽唱诵的音乐可以借鉴,练习的时候拿来当背景音乐,推荐Deva Premal 的瑜伽唱诵音乐。

如果觉得梵文咒语有难度,简单的“om”就可以了。
