Pujiu Temple is situated in the west of Yongji city, Shanxi province. It is an interest place and love spot. A love-story between Zhangsheng and YingYing happened here, It was written a Chinese Classical play. Pujiu Temple is a grand building and having an unique style. There are many fascinating spots in it, Great Belltower, pagoda court, Winding corridor and so on,The house of Zhangsheng ,Yingying’s living room and Zhangsheng’s study courtyard are most interesting places of Pujiu Temple. 普救寺始建于唐武则天时期，原名永清院，是一座佛教十方院。
元代王实甫《崔莺莺待月西厢记》中说的“红娘月下牵红线，张生巧会崔莺莺”的爱情故事就发生在普救寺内。
寺内有座方形砖塔，原名舍利塔，俗称莺莺塔。
这座塔同北京天坛的回音壁、河南宝轮寺塔、四川潼南县大佛寺内的“石琴”，并称为中国现存的四大回音建筑；和缅甸掸邦的摇头塔、匈牙利索尔诺克的音乐塔、摩洛哥马拉克斯的香塔、法国巴黎的钟塔、意大利的比萨斜塔，并称为世界六大奇。
是国家AAAA景区。
