出处：宋·苏轼《后赤壁赋》》江流有声，断岸千尺，山高月，匕水落石出。
释义：江水下落，水下的石头自然露了出来。
比喻事情经过调查研究和对证，终将真相大白。
故事：苏轼字子瞻，号东坡，四川眉山人，北宋时期的大文学家、书画家。他生性豪放，学识渊博，极富文采。在被贬嫡黄州时，曾两次游历黄州城外的赤壁，写下了两篇传世之作《前赤壁赋》和《后赤壁赋》。
当时，十月夜晚的月光分外皎洁明媚。苏轼和他的两个朋友沐浴着和煦的秋风，兴致勃勃地一起在城外散步。月白风清的美丽夜景，使他们诗兴大发，和朋友相聚，畅叙友情，更使他们忘记了一切烦恼，他们和歌吟诗，畅所欲言，欢乐之至，无以形容。苏轼突然想到了酒。他急忙赶回家中，询问妻子家中是否有酒。妻子笑了，拿出一罐藏了很久的酒，说这就是供给他临时需用的.。
苏轼大喜过望，连连称谢，拿了酒，赶回朋友中间，来到赤壁下的长江岸边，登上小舟，泛舟游玩。
这时，只听见东流的江水发出潺潺的声响，在万籁寂静的夜晚显得特别清脆，岸边千尺陡壁，峻峭如削。一座座高大的山峰屹立，悬在山峰间的月亮显得小了;江水下落，沉在江水之下的石头，露了出来。
