It's New Year's Day today. This morning when I got up, I heardsomebody singing a love song. It was mum! Ifelt very strange because Iknew mum didn't enjoy popular songs. And I didn't think it was suitable formy middle-aged mother to sing any love songs. What's more, dad wasfollowing what mum was singing. "What had happened to them?" Then Inoticed a box with a small card on the table. I got close to it carefully andunderstood then. As a matter of fact, it was their 15th marriage anniversarytoday. That's why they were so happy. When seeing their happiness, I alsofelt happy.

旅游
It was already late when we set out for the next town, fifteen miles away on the other side of the hills. It got dark soon; we drove fast along the narrow winding road that led to the hills. We couldn't identify any sign of the town marked on the map. Suddenly the car stopped. We had run out of petrol. Therefore, although we had little food with us, we decided to spend the night in the car.
Our meal finished very soon. I went to sleep at once. But my companion Bill who was a poor sleeper went for a walk up the hills. From the top of the hill he saw the lights of the town we were looking for. We unloaded all our luggage and pushed the car to the top of the hill at once. Then we went back to the luggage, loaded the car again and set off down the hill. We reached the town less than a quarter, and found a hotel quite easily.
How an exhausting day!

It was a fine day today and the sun was bright. I visited Beijing Zoo with my classmate, He Song. The animals were so interesting that all the people loved them. When a bear asked for some food by waving its ann, a visitor threw something to it. At once I went up to him and said without thinking, "Don't do that. It's bad for it. If you really love them, take good care of them." His face turned red and answered he wouldn't do that again.

当今的英语课堂已经不再像过去传统教学中的“一言堂”那样枯燥乏味，特别是在小学英语课堂中，听听做做、说说、玩玩、演演、唱唱、跳跳、掌声、笑声充满了整个课堂。小学英语教学充满了生机活力和人文的关怀。但是，小学英语教学，只是玩玩乐乐吗？

热身：听听做做，师生自由交谈（称赞学生，询问对方姓名、询问所喜欢的食物。）

操练：读一读、读音对比读，不同语调读，不同感情读，拼拼读读，听录音跟读。说一说：简单造句，看场景编对话，做游戏“悄悄话”。
思考：看VCD进行思想品德教育：多吃饭，少吃零食、健康饮食、节约粮食供应。
讨论：小组讨论水和重要性。
唱一唱：What would you like
拓展和巩固：
1、访问填表，写对话。
2、查一查：一些城市或国家的特色食物或饮料。
通过这节课，我了解到：全班学生能拼读本节课的单词，而且能说出课外很多食物的名称，学生能运用句型编对话，效果好！这节课从学生的心理出发，适时的鼓励、有趣的教学活动、动静巧妙结合，环环相扣，适时的游戏和教师适当的鼓励吸引着学生不由自主的学习、思考和创造。
反思：课堂虽不是很热闹，但注意了激发学生的学习兴趣和积极的情感，调动学生的眼、耳、手、脑、口等各种器官的共同作用，不仅使学生全方位接触英语、感受英语、巩固所学知识，同时学会了小组间的互相合作、协作，而且始终注重知识的传授和技能的培养。每个环节体现了教师有设计环节上的用心良苦，努力创新。
总之，作为一名小学英语教师，我是否要时常认真反思和研究自己的教学实践？是否做到上每节课前问问自己这节课的教学目标是什么？要让学生学什么？达到何种程度？教学形式是否能充分调动学生学习的积极性与自主性？评价是否机智？一个游戏都是为哪部分学生设计的？是否为游戏而游戏？是否忽视了教学内容本身？学生是否真正的掌握了在交际中运用英语知识的技能？学生的素质是否得到了提高？
