五、开展学生收看“时事新闻课”活动
我校是“时事新闻课”的试点校。目前为止，时事新闻课已开播十二期，我校的六年组的班主任李淑梅、刘美、刘相侠、谢秀波、李艳玲、裴丽丽及五年组的郑艳华、班云侠、陈晓敏、赵志芳、范志娟、张红双十二位老师，分别利用每周五下午的时间组织学生在校进行观看，老师们认真负责，学生们热情高涨，观看后分别写了
六、加强管制刀具及不宜携带物品进校园清查工作
5月16日，通过下发一封信的形式和家长签订了《严禁管制刀具及学生不宜携带物品进校园的责任书》，同时要求各班班主任随时对本学生携带的物品进行清查与搜查，使每个学生明白不宜携带物品及管制刀具进校园的违法性和危害性，使他们主动远离管制刀具，防止伤害事件的发生，进一步维护学校良好的教学秩序，预防未成年人犯罪。
七、开展各种征文活动
六年组的李淑梅、刘美、刘相侠、谢秀波、李艳玲、裴丽丽六位班主任老师组织学生在勤俭节约方面作了调查报告，每班已经上交2份优秀调查报告。
五年组的郑艳华、班云霞、陈晓敏、赵志芳、范志娟、张洪双六位班主任老师组织学生参加“社会主义核心价值观”和“我爱我家”征文活动，前后组稿24份，文章现已全部上交。
王秀英、李玉伟、王贺三位科任

同时，我校六年一班嵇星诺同学参加了松原市中小学师生“国旗下誓言”征文比赛，此次征文比赛面向松原市中小学师生，整个松原市只有四人获奖，我校嵇星诺同学荣获二等奖，这不仅是嵇星诺同学个人的荣誉，也是我们实验小学的荣誉。据了解，嵇星诺同学的《国旗下誓言》已被全市各小学升旗宣誓时采用。
八、开展校园校舍安全大检查工作

6月2日下午，聘请xx市法院管丽辉律师到我校对六年四班和六年五班学生进行关于《未成年保护法》方面的法制讲座。为了保证活动顺利开展，谢秀波、李艳玲两位班主任提前做好准备工作，学生统一着装，听讲座时秩序井然。在此，对六年四班和六年五班全体师生提出表扬。此次活动的开展，使学生知法、懂法、守法、用法，不仅拓宽学生的法律知识视野，增强学生的法律观念，同时为预防和减少学生违法犯罪等方面起到促进作用。
十、加强教师师德师风建设
6月2日，组织全校教师学习《严禁教师违规收受学生及家长礼品礼金等行为的规定》并签订了相关的承诺书。同时，以《致家长的一封信》的形式，引导家长和教师之间用文明友善的方式传递正能量，切实促进教师廉洁从教，一一步营造了风清气正的教书育人环境。
十一、完成“乡村从教30年教师颁发荣誉证书”上报工作
根据上级文件精神，结合我校实际，经调查共有30名教师符合条件，其中在职教师1人，退休教师29人。一些退休教师已失去联系，但黄冲、郁军两位老师本着对每位教师负责的工作态度，想尽一切办法尽量通知到退休教师本人。5月30日，召开了涉及到的教师的专项会议。截至6月12日，30名教师的登记表已上交，英语组的范玉双、田艳梅、苏红、李艳娟、郭红迎、赵越等教师对上报教师的登记表进行了誊写、校对，郭晶明老师对上报人员进行了最后汇总。目前，此项工作已圆满完成。在此，对黄冲、郁军、郭晶明及英语组的教师提出表扬。
十二、完成其他临时指派性工作
5月4日，根据xx市宣传部通知，要求选派一名教师担当“xx好人”颁奖会上的主持人。我校王丽丽老师接到任务后，不计报酬、不辞劳苦，在完成教学工作之余，还要进行
5月27日，根据教育局通知要求，利用半天时间为宣传部和教育局组织的六一文艺汇演撰写串联词。此项工作，时间紧，任务重，胡立波、李玉伟两位老师接到任务后，不讲代价，不讲报酬，在规定的时间内保质保量地完成任务，得到教育局领导的好评与认可。
以上是我校五、六月份德育、安全工作的简单回顾，在各项工作的开展中，可能还有一些人也做了一些工作，因为我们疏忽，在这里没有提出表扬的，希望大家能够谅解。在今后的工作中我们将继续努力，务实创新，进一步提高德育、安全工作实效性。

A retired teacher received many letters from his former students, one of which was read as not only a thank-you note for his inspirational teaching in his mathematical class, but a warm comfort for his poor physical condition.
Reading the passage, I’m touched and link my memory to the most supportive mentor of my own -- Mr. Xu, an experienced Chinese teacher, was in charge of my class in Senior Three. As the senior year is characterized by running a tight schedule on everyday basis, we students were loaded with heavy coursework, frequent quiz and exams, and pressured by our parents’ high expectations. Is Watching TV a Good Thing
Television has changed people's life much since it was invented. Now it has become an important part of modem life.
People enjoy themselves after hard work by Watching TV. They can see some plays, some stories,some sports matches without going out of home, and without spending much money in buying tickets. TV programmes make people's life more interesting.
People learn much from TV. Students can study by watching some educational programmes. People can see news, weather reports; programmes about science and computers. People all over the world can learn from each other and get knowledge when they are watching TV.

Use of Free Time
With the working hours becoming shorter and shorter and holidays becoming longer and longer, how to spend the leisure time has become a hot topic.
The use of free time often discloses much about one's tastes, values, interests and personality. Some may take to the humanities: literature, magic, art, and they might be interested in movies and television. Others participate in sports, politics, voluntary work or hobbies at home. Weekends to people mean that people can have two days' rest. They can go out or get together at home.
Everybody spends weekends in his own way. Some people relax themselves by listening to music, reading in libraries or doing sports outdoors. In a word, different people have different relaxations.
I often spend weekends with my family. Sometimes my parents take me to visit our relatives. Sometimes we go swimming or go dancing and sometimes I go to read some instructive books. I often enjoy myself at weekends.

The Value of Reading Books

Li Ming and I took part in a wilderness survival program yesterday,which has become an unforgettable experience.
Yesterday morning we wore strong and comfortable shoes, carried backpacks with the necessities in them and went to the mountain. We climbed a hill. On the top we saw a direction mark, which told us where to go. Down the hill, we came to a river. There were no boats but we had to cross it. Luckily, both of us had learned how to swim. But we shouldn't make our things in the backpacks wet. Seeing a piece of board, I got an idea. We put our backpacks on the board and swam in the water pushing the board. When getting to the other bank, with the compass we found north in which direction we walked half an hour. Finally, we arrived at the campsite. We set up a tent and made a bonfire.
The two of us spent the night in the forest.
We learned to use knowledge gained in classroom training to solve problems. It was quite an experience for both of us, which I'll never forget for the rest of my life.

As a pupil I preferred the playground to the classroom and often liked to play tricks on girls, as by hiding insects in their desk drawers. On one occasion, I even grimaced behind the back of our teacher, causing the whole class to break into laughter; however, instead of becoming angry, he merely asked why we were laughing and wondered whether there was anything wrong with him. On another occasion, I punctured the tires of a car parked inside the school by using something sharppointed, leaving the principal frightened and bewildered after he had noticed that. Such were the happy moments in my life at that school. The happiest moment, to me and to all of my schoolmates, however, was the one when the school was letting out at the last bell of the day and we were rushing home as if we would never be back. Once, on our way home, a bunch of naughty students found a crickets' hole and exerted themselves to inject water into it with loud cheers. The girls were no less frantic than the boys when they were having a good time at such games as jump-rope, hopscotch and battledore and shuttlecock.

Wealth has always been what some people long for. It is true that most of them try to acquire wealth by means of honest labour. Their efforts contribute to the welfare of the society and at the same time to the accumulation of their wealth, and hence to their happiness.
There is no doubt that wealth brings happiness, especially in the modern society. Various kinds of up-to-date household appliances, latest fashions and recreations make their appearance with each passing day. All this makes our life more comfortable and colourful.
