《圆桌骑士：亚瑟王》剧情简介
一个在街头摸爬滚打的年轻人亚瑟，他与自己的小团伙一道控制着古伦敦城的秘密街市。在他拔出“王者之剑”之前，亚瑟并不知道自己生存的意义所在，亦不知其未来何去何从。亚瑟拔出圣剑，也意味着，他的人生将面临不同的挑战，他也不得不做出一些艰难的选择。亚瑟身陷诸多麻烦，还与一位名叫格尼薇儿(Guinevere)的女子有所纠缠。而此时大反派伏提庚(Vortigern)已偷走了亚瑟的王冠，杀死了他的双亲，并自己称王。亚瑟必须学会掌控圣剑，他必须直面自己心中的恶魔，并带领人民团结起来，打败暴君伏提庚(Vortigern)。

北京时间2014年7月22日消息，据国外媒体报道，黑人影星伊德瑞斯-艾尔巴(Idris Elba)正与华纳接洽，有望加盟华纳投拍，盖-里奇(Guy Ritchie)执导的新片《圆桌骑士：亚瑟王》(Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur)。而且该系列还曝出要拍六部电影，不过很多人怀疑不太可能。
不久前传出华纳有意拍摄亚瑟王题材的电影，将大家耳熟能详的故事重新演绎一遍。这次华纳选中的导演是盖-里奇，他凭借《大侦探福尔摩斯》(Sherlock Holmes)系列已经在好莱坞站稳脚跟。
据称伊德瑞斯-艾尔巴将在片中饰演亚瑟王父亲的得力助手，也是亚瑟王的兵法导师。艾尔巴以HBO电视剧《火线》成名，近两年在《环太平洋》、《雷神》等影片中都有上佳表现，更是凭借英剧《路德》多次获得艾美奖提名。
基特-哈灵顿(Kit Harington)和乔尔-金纳曼(Joel Kinnaman)之前都曾传出要加盟本片，不过两人如今已经凭借《权力的游戏》和《机械战警》走红，已经无望出演本片。《圆桌骑士：亚瑟王》的选角工作依然在进行之中。
近 日，查理·汉纳姆在社交网络上发布了一张盖·里奇版《圆桌骑士：亚瑟王》(还未定名字，暂译)的工作照，才得以窥见这部影片一点苗头。近 日，影片公布了官方剧情简介，故事大线索浮出水面。
目 前，盖·里奇正在编辑宙比·哈罗德进行剧本的沟通，此前也有消息，这部电影将是“6部系列”中的第一部。幕后阵容还包括与盖·里奇二次合作的摄影师约翰·马西森，二人初次合作影片《秘密特工》也将于今 年上映。
