而素贞亦怀了许仙的骨肉，可惜好景不常，昔日和素贞结下梁子的蛤蟆精，如今已成为得道高僧法海(干德门饰)，法海为一己之私，欲除去白素贞，将许仙强留于金山寺，目地为逼白素贞触犯天条，白素贞为救夫婿，联合小青前往金山寺要人，法海咄咄逼人，素贞忍无可忍，发动水族，水漫金山，誓和法海一较高下，不料却使无辜镇江百姓沦为波臣，因而犯了天条。
事后许仙知晓素贞的身份，但俩人却是更加恩爱，许仙，素贞，和小青三人搬回许仙姐姐许蛟容(伊宝莲饰)家住，一家和乐。
许仙和素贞开设保和堂，济世活人，并且除去了地方祸害-蜈蚣精。
