英国国王是什么时候就变得没什么权利了呢
乔治一世（George I of Great Britain，1660年5月28日－1727年6月11日），汉诺威选帝侯、英国国王。
他是汉诺威选帝侯奥古斯都和英国国王詹姆士一世的外孙女索菲亚的儿子。
在1698年，其父逝世后继位为汉诺威选帝侯。
1714年，英国女王安妮驾崩无嗣，根据1701年的“王位继承法”继承英国王位，称乔治一世，成为汉诺威王室的第一位国王，也是一个母语是德文，而且无法使用流利英文的国王。
所以从此开创了英国君主不出席内阁会议的先例，会议改由国王敕令一名亲信大臣主持，成为了英国首相制度的开端。
1727年，乔治一世在汉诺威驾崩。
