那么，作为老师的我们应该如何做呢
我认为不外乎以下几点： 1、为学生创设一个学习英语的环境和氛围 英语课堂上教师教学语言要丰富有趣、通俗易懂，贴近学生的知识水平。
教师应尽量使用英语进行教学，给学生营造良好的学习氛围。
如果学生未达到一定水平，盲目追求全英语课堂教学，效果就会适得其反；如果我们英汉结合，偶尔穿插一些笑话、幽默，课堂就会生动有趣，学生乐学。
因此，课堂语言要适当使用母语，从英汉交叉，到全英语教学，一定要切合实际，循序渐进，让学生能接受又有所提高，要讲求实效，真正做到：speaking english is possible. 2、在课堂教学中充分利用形体语言 教学是一门艺术，在英语教学中，形体语言显得尤为重要，通常发生在言语交流的同时。
形体语言是自然的、自发的，它能帮助学生接收和理解知识，能把抽象的东西具体化，有时比教师精讲细刻更清楚、更直观明了。
例如在解释go to sleep和be a sleep的区别时，教师一边揉揉眼、打打呵欠，一边说“i want to go to sleep”，然后趴在讲桌上，打着呼噜，装着睡着的模样，并且说“i am a sleep”，这样学生便能理解前者强调动作，后者则强调状态，然后让学生操练。

而自制教具取材不易受限制，教师能因地制宜地根据教学实际需求自行设计，方便于教学。

要在40分钟内精心设计，把握好学生心理状态的最佳时段。

40分钟之中出现了两次高潮和两次低谷。
