火炬介绍
作为一种神圣的象征，火的历史可以追溯到史前。
火在希腊历史上代表着创世，再生和光明。
在希腊神话中，火是赫菲斯托斯的神圣象征，是普罗米修斯从宙斯手中偷得赠送给人类的礼物。
在每个古希腊城邦的中心，都有一个燃烧长明圣火的祭坛，而城邦居民每家每户也都有长明圣火，以供奉女灶神赫斯提亚。
火炬传递最早在古希腊是作为一种宗教仪式在夜晚举行，时隔不久就逐渐转变成了首先在青少年当中兴起的一种团体竞技运动，并最终演化成了最为流行的古希腊体育项目之一。
在古奥林匹亚城的议事大厅有一个供奉赫斯提亚的祭坛，祭坛的圣火是用凹面圆盘或镜面聚焦太阳光点燃的。
圣火永不熄灭。
采集圣火的过程非常简单，但是能够给人留下深刻的印象。
凹陷的光滑平面能够将阳光汇集到焦点，最高女祭司将火炬伸到焦点处，就能够将其点燃。
古希腊人举行火炬传递比赛，参赛者须传递火炬直到终点。
古希腊火炬传递的宗教仪式每四年举行一次以祭奠女神雅典娜。
圣火的力量由火炬手用最快捷的方式进行传递。
火炬传递的起点是普洛米修斯的祭坛，终点是设于古雅典卫城的女神雅典娜祭坛。
当时的火炬传递由40位来自10个雅典人部落的青年来完成，全程一共2.5公里。
现代奥林匹克圣火点燃仪式与古希腊的相同，也是由女祭司在奥林匹亚点燃的，同时宣读运动员誓言。
随后奥运圣火将授予第一位火炬手，这也标志着火炬传递的正式开始。

正方一组从“利大”方面去思考，提出这样一些理由：（1）汽车、火车、飞机等这些交通工具的发明，让人们出行更加方便，省时，省力；（2）电话、手机的发明，让人们的通讯更加方便；（3）电脑、传真的出现拓宽了人们的视野……反方一组从“弊大”方面去思考，提出这样一些理由：（1）汽车尾气的排放造成了环境污染，严重影响了人们的健康；（2）电视、游戏机、网络等娱乐设施的出现，使人们沉迷其中，无心事业；（3）网络的出现，使得一些更高级的骗术出现，严重影响了人们的生活和生命安全…… 双方在维护本方观点或补充本方的支持理由的同时，尽量找出对方发言的漏和错误进行反驳，或是指出对方认识的片面，用本方观点予以纠正……双方辩手踊跃发言的，辩论非常激烈，最后还评出了双方的“最佳辩手”。
科技的发展“利大还是弊大”这是一个难辩的话题，学生经过激烈的辩论，都深刻明白了：“科技进步是一把双刃剑”这一说法。
当然，只要我们端正态度，全面考虑，相信科技永远会为我们人类提供更好的服务。
在这次辩论赛中，同学们都能以事实为依据，从不同的角度看待问题并大胆进行辩驳，大家都做的很好，以后要继续发扬这种精神。
