燃烧成功的欲望 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 美国人约翰·富勒的故事深深地影响了我，富勒家中有7个兄弟姐妹，他从5岁开始工作，9岁时会赶骡子。
他有一位了不起的母亲，她经常和儿子谈到自己的梦想：“我们不应该这么穷，不要说贫穷是上帝的旨意，我们很穷，但不能怨天尤人，那是因为你爸爸从未有过改变贫穷的欲望，家中每一个人都胸无大志。
”这些话深植富勒的心，他一心想跻身于富人之列，开始努力追求财富，12年后，富勒接手一家被拍卖的公司，并且还陆续收购了7家公司。
他谈及成功的秘诀，还是用多年前母亲的话回答：“我们很穷，但不能怨天尤人，那是因为爸爸从未有过改变贫穷的欲望，家中每一个人都胸无大志。

我由此发下誓言：我要改变自己，改变贫穷的家族，一定要成为富人的祖先?我们每个人都曾有美好的愿望，但为什么很多的愿望像肥皂泡一样一个个地破灭了……
举个例子你即会明白，如果你是家具公司的营销员，有一把椅子市场价100元，如果让你600元卖掉，闪跃脑际的想法是什么?肯定想到的是不可能。
但如果现在有一伙绑匪，将你生命中最珍爱的人，将你看得比自己生命还重要的人绑架了，让你在两小时之内把椅子600元卖掉，如果卖不掉，这些绑匪就要撕票，你会不会卖掉?我相信你不仅想卖掉，而是一定要卖掉，心头会滋生出一种强烈的欲望，去做成这件事。
往往在我们的学习、生活和工作中，并没有卖椅子那样困难，为什么离成功总是那么的遥远，取决你是否有火一样的激情投身于你最热望的事业中去，是否有强烈的欲望填充你的心灵深处；不再只是有美好的愿望去达成某件事，而是有强烈的欲望去达成；不再是想成功，而是一定要成功。
你的欲望有多么强烈，就能爆发出多大的力量；当你有足够强烈的欲望去改变自己命运的时候，所有的困难、挫折、阻挠都会为你让路，欲望有多大，就能克服多大的困难，就能战胜多大的阻挠。
你完全可以挖掘生命中巨大的能量，激发成功的欲望，因为欲望即力量 选择积极环境 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 成功与失败。
你为什么消沉和失意?因为你处在一个消极的环境；你为什么不成功?是因为你与失败者为伍。

无论你是飞黄腾达，还是穷困潦倒，当你选择比你优秀的人在一起，当你落败时，他会帮你检讨总结，为你加油助威：失败是暂时的，成功是最终的必然；当你成功时，他会提醒你，重新给自己定位，人生的意义不仅在于超越别人，最重要的是要超越自己。
