而107比118落败的西班牙队虽败犹荣，正是在他们的顽强抵抗下，那帮来自NBA的大腕们才首次在北京发挥出了“NBA水准”。
索兄索弟 让美国人收回傲慢 狂放的美国人将本届奥运会“最强对手”的称号授予了阿根廷队，因为后者曾两度给他们制造了难以忘却的噩梦般记忆。
相比来说，小组赛狂输美国队37分的西班牙队则普遍不被看好。
