马君武博士，我们敬爱的西大首任校长，为我们西大今天的繁荣与壮大奠定了坚实的战略基础。
在西大即将迎来她的80华诞之际，我们不由得带着崇高敬意，缅怀起这位前辈元老……作为祖国南大门孕育才子的摇篮，西大已经培养出许许多多的杰出人才，譬如两院院士李林、党鸿辛、陈太一、沈善炯，香港著名演员和导演鲍方，风靡全球的《豪杰解霸》软件发明人梁肇新，都是西大学子的杰出代表。
