然而我们常常忘了阅读一样东西，一样最重要也最难认识的东西——我们自己。
认识自己有时很容易：你可以从镜子中认识出自己的美丽与缺憾，从掌声和嘘声里认识出自己的成功与失败，从泪水与欢笑中认识出自己的欣喜与悲哀。
但我们要认识的不仅仅是这些，我们要了解的是真正的自我，是潜藏在内心深处、独一无二的自我。
这真的很难。
也许我们会发现其实自己并不像表现的那么勇敢坚强，也许我们其实也有着自私和贪婪，也许真正的自我会是那样的令人难以接受，但我们必须这样做，因为这是我们最重要的阅读课。
陶潜在污浊的官场中认识了自己，认识了自己的放浪与清高注定不能见容于黑暗的衙门，认识了自己“性本爱江山”的情怀，于是便有了“采菊东篱下，悠然见南山”的千古佳句。
鲁迅从国人的麻木中认识了自己，认识了自己注定要担负起唤醒民族之魂的伟大使命，认识了自己心灵深处不屈的民族气节，于是便有了弃医从文的选择，成了堪称民族脊梁的中华文学之魂。
他们认识了自己，更认识了社会；认识了历史，更认识了自己在人类历史长河中的位置。
也许并不是每个认识自己的人都能功成名就，但认识自我，却是实现人生价值的第一张门票。
认识自己才能读懂世界，不识乎己，何以识天下
只有认识自己，才会真正认识这段人生的欢喜与无奈，尝透生活的苦涩与醉人；才会真正不去在乎别人的眼光，走最适合自己的路。
认识自己，我们才会明白自己这颗螺丝钉的尺寸，才能在社会机器中找到真正属于自己的那个闪光点。
每个人都有喜欢或厌恶的书籍，也都有乐于阅读或倦于了解的心灵。
也许我们不能让每个人都爱上阅读自己的心灵，但我们至少可以让自己去认识它，欣赏它，寻求出内心深处真正自我的潜能与智慧。

我不知道这些青年人们在学校里都学了些什么
我想教育不光是体现在语数外等学习，还应该学习思想品德，我的老师曾经对我说过一句这样的话“如果一个人没有基本的道德品质，那他学到的知识越到对社会的危害也就越大”

一开始，他在家里迷上了体育，却没能取得好的良好的结果；他难过过一阵子，不过很快又振作起来开始读书。
他为了实现“我要读书”的梦想杨孟衡用3个月的时间学会用脚写字。
本来对一个停课两年的学生不会功课来说已经够不容易了，更何况他还是一个双臂高位截肢的残疾人。
现在，他已经取得了自己的成功。
要问这一切源于什么，就是源于梦想，源于梦想坚持的力量。
正是这种坚持，他才取得了成功。
他在这种艰难的情况下都能坚持，我们又有什么不能坚持的呢
相信梦想，相信坚持的力量。
让我们的梦想绽放，一直坚持下去，探索下去，从“我的梦”变成“中国梦”，梦想让明天更美好。
从长城到中国，从我的梦到中国梦，梦想就是希望。

而我们所居住的这座美国城市，还特别将每年的5月19日定成了'骑车上班日'，以支持和宣传这种有效的环保行为。
后来，我还在经常的搭车出行中获知了他们的另一件环保趣事：在美国的许多州，政府为了鼓励大家多坐公交车或几人合用一辆车，以节省能源和缓解交通压力，在城市内一些主干道路上开辟有专门的'钻石车道'，只有乘坐了二人或二人以上的车辆才从此通过。

说句真心话，回国三、四年，美国那边同学和老师的面孔已经逐渐模糊，但加州那宜人的自然环境，却每每清晰地浮现在我的眼前，成为我最深的记忆和期盼故地重游的缘由，也成了我心目中北京环境的蓝图。

答案是肯定的。
但需要我们以真正的环保之心和切实的环保行动去一步一步地实现。
从现在开始，如果每一位有车的朋友一星期可以少开一、两次车，每个让家长用车接送的同学一周能主动让家长少接送一两趟而改乘公车或骑自行车，我们就会有拥有更多的蓝天……。
只要我们每一位北京市民都能够自觉的从身边的环保小事做起，加州的蓝天、白云和绿草地就会在北京安家，美国的松鼠、彩蝶和百灵鸟就会来北京落户。
涓涓细流可以汇成滔滔江海，片片绿叶能够造就莽莽森林。
只要我们每一位北京市民都拿起手中的环保之笔，在我们所处的街头巷尾，为北京这幅美丽而古老的画卷添上自己的一抹绿色，就能使北京掩映在绿色的海洋中。
