今天我要为各位演讲的主题是“科技，改变生活”。
科技总是随着人类进步而发展，而人类的生活也随着科技进步而改变。
四十年前，我的父母看的是黑白电视，用水要到很远的地方去挑，煮饭要在灶台上升火，出游要走很远的路。
现在，我们看的是液晶电视，要用水时，只需轻轻扭开水龙头；做饭时只要轻按电钮即可，出游时你只需招手，便可踏上出租车，去到想去的地方。
以前，晚上照明是件麻烦的事，后来，爱迪生发明了电灯，解决了这个问题，从此，人们晚上也可以像白天一样生活；以前，与国外的朋友交流，几乎是件不可能做到的事情，自从有了互联网，让也成为了现实。
可以说，科技的进步改变了人类的生活。
以前的灯炮用的是发光二极管，不但费电，而且使用寿命短，亮度低；而现在的节能灯，在达到同样光能输出的前提下，只需耗费普通灯泡用电量的1\\\/5至1\\\/4，就可以节约大量的照明电能和费用。
以前发电需要大量的煤炭，不仅浪费资源，而且污染环境；而现在采用光能、风能、水利发电，不仅解决了资源浪费而且还保护环境。
以前我们做一件衣服，需要很多的工序，而现在采用现代化的生产方式，不仅缩短了生产时间，而且减少了人力的浪费，并且生产出来的服装更加美观大方。
以前的电视用的是显像管不仅耗电、体积大而且清晰度也不高，而现在的液晶电视不仅机身轻薄、环保节能还图像清晰度高以前，从昆明去北京，走路大约需要三个月，而现在乘坐飞机，只需要三个小时就可以到了。
以前，肺结核是不治之症，而现在随着医疗技术的进步，它已经成为了一种普通传染病。
可见科技的进步与人类的发展密不可分，科技使人类的生活更加便捷。
现在人们的生活已经离不开科技，所以我们要合理的利用科技、发展科技，使世界变得更加美好。
所以说，科技改变生活，生活又推动科技发展。
为了使我们的生活更加美好，请在座的各位与我一起，从今天开始，为人类的进步努力奋斗吧

关于现代科技的~~Science and art are the obverse and reverse of Nature's medal; the one expressing the eternal order of things, in terms of feeling, the other in terms of thought. Science has long had an uneasy relationship with other aspects of culture. Think of Galileo’s 17th-century trial for his rebelling belief before the Catholic church or poet William Blake’s harsh remarks against the mechanistic worldview of Isaac Newton. The schism between science and the humanities has, if anything, deepened in this century. Until recently the scientific community was so powerful that it could afford to ignore its critics--but no longer. As funding for science has declined, scientists have attacked “anti-science” in several books, notably Higher Superstition, by Paul R. Gross, a biologist at the University of Virginia, and Norman Levitt, a mathematician at Rutgers University; and The Demon-Haunted World, by Carl Sagan of Cornell University. Defenders of science have also voiced their concerns at meetings such as “The Flight from Science and Reason,” held in New York City in 1995, and “Science in the Age of (Mis) information,” which assembled last June near Buffalo. Anti-science clearly means different things to different people. Gross and Levitt find fault primarily with sociologists, philosophers and other academics who have questioned science’s objectivity.
