I would rather live in the countryside than live in the city. As we know, there are more supermarkets and malls to go shopping and better hospitals for patients, but there is more pollution in the city,too. In the countryside, the road is not so crowded as it in the city. The air is fresh and clean. The water is very clear. Sometimes we can enjoy the beautiful sing of birds. In the fine evening, we can see the beautiful skies with lots of stars. If I can live in the countryside, I will have a big house with a garden. I will plant flowers,grow vegetables and keep animals by my self. I like peaceful country life. What about you?

As a daughte(or son) of the greatest country who has the long history of more than five thousand years, I am so lucky.I learn a lot from your history and culture, which are remarkable in the world. And as a result I am deeply attracted by the interesting and instructive events and historical figures. Sixty years ago, with the establishment of People's Republic of China, Chinese people started a totally new life.During the past 60 years, China became richer and stronger. Yes, we used to be treated as a weak nationality but after 60 years it is not the case any longer.Nowdays, we live a much happier life than before and this should be owed to the distribution of hundreds and thousands of pioneers who devoted themselves to the independence and improvements of China. In the 60th National Day, we must momerize these heros.For me, the best way to momerize is to study hard and master more knowledge to construct our mother country which is deeply loved by all of us.The past 60 years belongs to the heros, the constructors of China and of course, several great leaders such as Chairman Mao, Premier Zhou, and Dengxiaoping. And we are confident that we can go along their road in the future.The prosperity of motherland make it possible for all of us to improve the quality of life. Especially, for the young students like me. First, we dont need have to worry about the foods and houses like children several decades ago. We all have a happy childhood and this is help to form our active and optimistic characters. Second, state has established a relatively sound education system and thus we can receive perfect and necessary educaion. It’s of great importance for our future. Third, with the development of national economy, adults can obtain more employment opportunities and then, they may earn enough money to afford family expenditures. And children, together with their parents and grandparents, will have stable families which make all people happy. Fourth, China makes more and more communications with other countries around the world and this makes it is possible for us to know more about the world. Fifth, we also benefit from the public facilities such as transportations, stadiums and hosptials. For example, travelling becomes easier than before and we children can find a lot of place to play on. Furthermore, when we catch a cold or feel sick, we can go to hospital and be treated easily. When we want to enjoy a new film, there are many cinemas available. In a word, all these exciting changes should be owed to you, my mothercountry.As a student in the new age, I know that we are responsible for the future and development of you, my dear mother country. As for me, it’s nature to do something valuable to return you, my dear motherland. Yes, I know I am to young to make great contributions to you currently. But I have decided to be a useful person to the society in the future. To achieve this goal, I should make preparations. First, just as mentioned above, it’s obvious to study hard is of the most importance for me. Otherwise, even I really want to do something good when I grow up, I have not sufficient ability. It will be sad for me. To avoid the regret, I have to master knowledges and skills as much as I can. Second, I will always remember I am a Chinese and I am proud of this as well. 第三,随着国家经济的发展,成人们可以获得更多的就业机会,他们因此可以有更多的收入来负担家庭的各项开支。

因此,孩子们和家人都可以拥有一个稳定的家庭,而稳定的家庭使所有的人都感到幸福。

第四,中国与其他国家的交流越来越频繁,因而我们可以更多地了解外部世界。

第五,我们也从国家的公共建设,诸如公共交通、体育场和医院上面获益良多。

比如说,旅游变得比以前更容易了,孩子们也可以找到更多的地方玩耍。

还有,当我们感冒或者不舒服的时候,我们可以很容易找到医院就诊。

而当我们想去看一部新电影时,有很多电影院可供选择。

总而言之,这些激动人心的变化都应当归功与您,我的祖国。

作为一个新时代的学生,我知道我们对您的未来和发展负有责任,我亲爱的祖国。

就我而言,做些有价值的事情来回报您是很自然的。

是的,我知道我还很小,目前还不能为您做出很大的贡献,但是我已经决心将来成为一个对社会有用的人。

一篇四年级的英语演讲稿:我最想去的旅游的地方

A visit to Beijing On Oct 1st, the National Day of China, this year, dad, mom and I went to Beijing on a package tour arranged by the travel agency. I was so happy because it's the first time that I visit the Great Wall. The Great Wall, one of the greatest wonders of the world, was enlisted in the World Heritage in 1987. Just like a gigantic dragon, it winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus stretching approximately 6,700 kilometers from east to west of China. With a history of more than 2000 years, some sections are now in ruins or even entirely disappeared. However, it is still one of the most appealing attractions all around the world owing to its architectural grandeur and historical significance. We took the bus to arrive at the foot of the Great Wall. There are so many people who had been here. I began to climb the dreamed Great Wall. At first I did not feel tired, but after I stepped a thousands of steps I felt tired and thirsty. At last, we stood on the highest point of the Great Wall. A Chinese saying goes like that, “you are not a real hero until you have climbed the Great Wall”. The landscape outside and inside the Great Wall was so beautiful in this autumn!

Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity.100年前,一位伟大的美国人——今天我们就站在他象征性的身影下——签署了。

这项重要法令的颁布,对于千百万灼烤于非正义残焰中的黑奴,犹如带来希望之光的硕大灯塔,恰似结束漫漫长夜禁锢的欢畅黎明。

But one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the Negro is still not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. So we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition.然而,100年后,黑人依然没有获得自由。

In a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.从某种意义上说,我们来到国家的首都是为了兑现一张支票。

我们共和国的缔造者在拟写宪法和的辉煌篇章时,就签署了一张每一个美国人都能继承的期票。

It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check which has come back marked insufficient funds. But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.然而,今天美国显然对她的有色公民拖欠着这张期票。

This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning.忽视这一时刻的紧迫性,对于国家将会是致命的。

Those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.如果国家依然我行我素,那些希望黑人只需出出气就会心满意足的人将大失所望。

We cannot be satisfied as long as the Negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. We can never be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.我们不能单独行动。
