Learning English is very important for us, and here is why. We all know Chinese is the most populous, however, the more advanced knowledge is in the western world. In order to retrieve the information from them, we must not be arrogant and think they will deliver themselves, we must go fetch them and learn from them, and grow from them. Then finally we may develop our own advanced technologies that other countires would try to learn our language in order to retrieve these technologies. It is a never ending cycle and that is how the society and the world grows. English is a very important skill set. The Chinese language may be used by 1\\\/6 of the people in the world, however, English is used by the other 5\\\/6. If we want to improve ourselves, we cannot seal our country like the old Qing Dynasty. We must learn from the best, and then become the best by improving on top of the best. We have fallen behind in the ealier years, so that is why this is a necessary step to do now. It is important in the new era that we do not think of ourselves as the best, and we should learn to be even more modest, and hide our ambitions until we have the tools to do so. And learning their language is an important step for us.学习英文对于我们来说非常重要，以下是我的原因。
我们都知道中国是最多人口的国家，但是更先进的技术都还在西方。
我们需要学习他们的语言才能从他们那里拿到这些先进的技术。
从而学习到先进的思想，然后再创造出属于我们自己的更加先进的科技。
在那时，其他国家又要纷纷学习中文，以求获得这些更加先进的知识，然后整个过程又会经过一遍……这就是人类社会发展进步的过程。
英文是一个非常重要的技术。
世界上或许六分之一的人都说中文，但是其他六分之五都说英文。
如果我们想要让自己进步，我们不可以学习清朝闭关锁国，我们必须从最好的学习，然后青出于蓝而胜于蓝，在他们的基础上再创辉煌。
我们需要如此因为前期我们的脚步落后了太多，我们不可以自大自负，必须更加的谦虚好学。
我们需要藏起我们的野心，直到我们有了真正的实力和把握的一天。

We know that investing in education, health care and sound social policy can improve health outcomes. We also know that health is an asset, thus promoting and protecting it must be a key concern. This means that we must be sure we are educated about thedeterminants of health, about empowerment, and about working with communities and vulnerable groups to address their unique needs.We can work to ensure the poor are treated with respect, and work to influence policies and programmes, ensuring they are designed with the poor and most vulnerable in mind. 这就要求我们必须接受关于健康的决定因素、能力以及如何与社区、弱势群体合作，以便满足贫困者的特殊需求。
我们可以通过努力工作，以使贫困者受到更好的保护；并可影响到政策和法规的制定，使之能够为贫困者和弱势群体着想；我们可以通过宣传，为贫困者争取到公正的劳动标准、安全的工作场所、妇女（她们占最贫困人口的70%）的平等权利，并确保他们享受到公平的医疗保健服务。
