Ladies and Gentlemen, Good morning! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. Man’s life is a process of growing up, actually I’m standing here is a growth. If a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then I grow up along with these choices. Once I hope I can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know I come here, now I wonder what the future holds for me. When I come to this school, I told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. Following I will learn to become a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, intensive thought, has the ability to judge right and wrong, has a perfect job. Once my teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” I will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process I will combine learning with doing. If I can achieve this “future”, I think that I really grow up. And I deeply believe kindred, good-fellowship and love will perfection and happy in the future. How to say future? Maybe it’s a nice wish. Lets make up our minds, stick to it and surely well enjoy our life. 中文大意：）~ 女士们，先生们，上午好。
我很高兴在这里为大家作一个简短的讲话。
人的一生是一个成长的过程，事实上，我现在站在这里也是一次成长。
如果一个人的一生必须面临不同的选择，那么我就是伴随着这些选择成长起来的。
曾经我盼望将来能上大学，然而那已经过去了，现在我在这儿，只想知道我的未来会是什么样的。
当我来到这所学校，我告诉我自己：我不久的将来都从这里开始。
接着我要学习如何做人，如何做一个正直的人，并且拥有一个健康的体魄，能承担重要的任务，能独立思考，思想开放，心思缜密，有判断是非的能力，有一份不错的工作。
我的老师曾经告诉我说：“你不是在修补而是在创造；永远不要忘记你向人们所展示的是你的思想，而不是你的手艺。
”我会将我的性格，兴趣爱好和能力一起融入到学习中去。
在这过程中，我边学习边实践。
如果我能实现这个“未来”，我就认为我真的成长了。
并且我深信我的亲人，好朋友以及爱会使我的未来更完美，更幸福。
如何来解释未来呢? 也许那只是一个美好的愿望。
让我们下定决心，坚持到底，那我们的人生一定能过得很精彩。

Robots: Future Technologies and How They Will Effect Us. （未来的科技对我们的影响---机器人）What will life be like in fifty years? Will our home life be more comfortable? Will our jobs become easier? Will our health become better due to new technology? It is most likely to turn out this way. According to scientist, robots will be doing our yard work, taking over some of our jobs, and monitoring our health on a daily basis. Does this sound unbelievable? This might just be the kind of world our grandchildren will grow up in. It's hard not to think about having our lives changed by the introduction of these new gadgets. As for the household aspect, computers will make our daily drudgery of housework dramatically more interesting. In the next decade robots should be cleaning our floors, mowing our lawns, and even cleaning our pools at the touch of a button. Who can imagine what advancements the next fifty years will bring. Home life is not the only thing that will be effected by the growth of technology. Jobs will go from spine busting manual labor to sitting behind a control panel. An example of this might be a HVAC system on a large office building. Technology will probably advance to the point of micro chips being placed into their systems, and when a problem is detected a signal we be sent to eliminating not only the problem, but also hours in manual troubleshooting. Experts say that manual labor will be all together eliminated by the year 2050.(Reed 3) The teaching profession will also be drastically effected. Electronic books could replace textbooks and even teachers. The transportation industry will also see a decrease in human workers. With the use of magnetic tracks, and computer driven shuttles and busses people will be transported safely and more efficient then humans ever could. Health could be one of the most important subjects for the future, it is also the most advanced. Our health will have the ability to be constantly be monitored. Our alarm clocks will to report your hydration level and signal the refrigerator to prepare you a drink.(Gorman 2) Our toothbrushes will be observing our mouth for gum disease, tooth decay, and abnormal cells. All this with out being aware of the tasks being preformed. How about a microscopic robot sent into the blood stream to search for abnormalities. These microscopic machines, about the size of a germ, will be able to take internal vital signs and organize the data back to a mainframe computer implanted in your skin. Have these inventions piqued your interest? Have they got you wondering what the future holds? If you think back just ten years and look at the technology compared to today's it is unbelievable to think how far we have came. Although the future is unpredictable we can count on the evolution of these machines.

My Chinese Dream 我的中国梦 I am very glad to stand here to give thier a short speech.Today my topic is that the youth are the future of motherland 很高兴站在这里做这篇短小的演讲，我演讲的主题是青年是祖国的未来。
When preparing for the English speech, I simply want to search some articles as the contents of my speech. I read a lot of articles, some from the university professor, some from the famous host, some from the college students, and even from junior high school students. But after reading it, I gave up the idea, I even felt shameful. Today,the topic I want to talk about is a solemn and serious theme full of glory and pride, which is a common aspiration of all our Chinese. Every Chinese has his own dream of China, and of course, there is a dream lingering in my heart only belongs to my own. 在准备英语演讲的时候，我本想简单地从网上搜索一些文章作为我演讲的内容。
我看过很多文章，有著名主持人的、北大教授的、大学生的，也有初中生的。
但是看完之后，我放弃了当初的想法，我甚至为当初的想法感到有一些羞愧。
因为今天我站在这里向大家演讲的主题，是一个庄重而严肃的主题；是一个充满荣耀与自豪的主题；是每一个中华儿女共同期盼的主题。
每个人都有属于他们自己的中国梦，而我，当然也有一直萦绕在心怀只属于我的中国梦。
So what‟s my Chinese dream ? Finally I will announce. We had learned a lot of knowledge and understood a lot of truth in the book. We had a basic concept to our country at that time. However,We don't know what time to start,We are grow up,Life became not the same, though we don‟t want to admit, it‟s the truth that our mind and attitude to our country is changing. Our society became full of deception, indifference, intrigue, pressure, corruption, sinister, and we became irritable and not calm, detest the world and its ways. Our country seems to have become in a disastrous state too. A lot of young students who were nurtured by our motherland became impatient, let alone what are their dreams , what is the china dream ? 这，是我们最初的中国梦。
最真诚的我们，最真诚的梦。
但是，不知道什么时候开始，我们长大了，生活似乎一下子变得和以前不太一样了，与此同时，虽然我们很不想承认但是却又不得不承认的是，我们的思想，我们的为人处世观，我们对我们祖国的看法，也潜移默化中慢慢开始了转变。
我们的社会变得到处充满欺骗、冷漠、勾心斗角、压力、腐败、险恶，我们变得暴躁，不冷静，愤世嫉俗。
我们的国家，似乎也开始变得千疮百孔。
而好多我们亲爱的祖国委以重任培养的青年学生们变得轻浮、急躁，更别提什么梦想，什么中国梦了
I was surprised ,when the old man fell down in the street,We are afraid to help him.I was disappointed ,when someone do good things were reported,many people think he was affectation, I was sad,when I saw many of young people become indifferent ,fraud and lack of ideal. Are we sick, or is our dear motherland sick? 我很惊讶，当大街上有老人摔倒，我们不敢再去扶起；我很难过，当有人做了好事被报道，更多的人说他做作；我很伤心，当我看到我们众多的青年人变得冷漠、市侩、欺诈以及缺乏理想。
到底是我们病了，还是我们亲爱的祖国病了
I don't want to talk about the construction of our country politics, and - - 3 - - - 3 - also speak impassioned speech on the Diaoyu Island event .I just want to appeal young people,showing the side of youth,good and confidence.We must learn to organize our own thoughts, correct our own concept, and change our direction to the right side in future life. China dream actually lies in our young generation, especially of the intellectuals. 我的中国梦，不想大谈政治，也不想对钓鱼岛事件发表慷慨激昂的演讲。
我只想呼吁，呼吁我们年轻人，呼吁我们祖国的希望能够将我们的青春一面，将我们的善良一面，将我们的自信一面好好展现出来。
我们要学会整理自己的思想，端正自己看问题的观念，摆正自己的人生方向。
我们的中国梦实际上正掌握在我们自己手上，掌握在我们年青一代，尤其是知识分子手上。
Perhaps the strength of a person is small, but when his or her fate is connected with the motherland, he or she will be hero or heroine. Perhaps a dream is tiny, but when it becomes the dream of a country, it becomes inestimable. Perhaps I cannot change our country by my own, but if thousands and thousands of young people struggle for the dream together, our motherland is enough to make the world shock. 也许，一个人，是渺小的；但是当他和祖国联系起来时，就是伟大的。
也许，一个梦想，是渺小的，但是当它成为祖国的梦想时，就是不可估量的。
也许，我无法用自己一个人的力量撬起整个中国，但是我们千千万万年轻人一起为祖国的梦想去奋斗时，我们的祖国就足以令世界颤抖、动容。
I dream to construct our beauty China with millions of young people who have the same dream. We do it without exaggeration but only with persistence. 我梦想和万千具有相同梦想的年轻人去建设我们的美丽中国，没有虚浮，只有执着，只有奋斗，只有勇于担当。
