Ladies and Gentlemen , Good afternoon! I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. today my topic is “youth”. I hope you will like it , and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it. First I want to ask you some questions: 1、 Do you know what is youth? 2、 How do you master your youth? Youth Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life . Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .女士们，先生们，下午好

we all have a lot of teachers. everyone has his or her favorite one. as for me, it is my english teacher ms li.ms li is very young and beautiful. she is tall and she has big and bright eyes. she is very strict with our english study, but she never scolds us loudly. she is so patient that we all like her very much.

比如说到运动时，可以分享一次自己喜欢的运动， 或者一次经历。
五、 重难点突破 演讲中最忌讳的是明显的语法错误， 注意如下1 、 There be 结构中there is \\\/there are 混用。
2、 名词单复数混淆。
3、 主语和谓语保持一致。
4、 运用正确的方位介词， in on at under in front of behind next to等 5、 时态运用： 描述图片用一般现在时或现在进行时。
拓展句子用过去式或将来时。

希望之星英语大赛真实性大么
实际上，希望之星英语风采大赛的含金量并不高。
因为该比赛是电视播出的比赛，是一个盈利性质的比赛，所以其公平性就很难保证，省级的比赛已经有不公平，到全国总决赛，不公平现象更为突出。
全国总决赛是暑假里电视播出的，大赛组委会肯定要追求收视率。
所以，全国总决赛就不是单纯的英语比赛了，应该是比赛形式的英语娱乐秀，从某种意义上说，是为了追求收视率而选择晋级选手，因此，选手是否晋级已不完全由该选手的表现如何，而在很大程度上取决于选手的长相等非比赛因素。
获得前几名的选手，未必是真正实力强的；在20进10就被淘汰的选手，也未必比晋级的选手差。
希望之星英语风采大赛的性质决定了该比赛含金量不可能高，即使获得全国总冠军，也不会在参加高中或大学的自主招生考试时起作用。
