If we compare our childhood to the spring of a year, then youth must be the most energetic season-----summer. For all of us, every minute and second counts in this wonderful season. And while we enjoy ourselves, we should bear in mind the responsibility of youth. Firstly, we should remember that honesty is always the most important character throughout our lifetime. If we choose to make friends with liars, we will have to live life in the endless darkness of crime and guilt. On the contrary, if we stick to honesty and always keep our promise, we will live a bright life in the warm sunshine of happiness and eudemonia. So be honest to your friends as well as the strangers, and enjoy the fragrance of trust. Secondly, kindness is also among treasurable characters for all of us. Whether we are living a rich or poor life, we should be grateful for all we possess. Maybe we do not have large houses to live in; neither do we have enough money to buy the delicious food. But thank goodness, we have beloved family. We have lovely pets. And we have truly friendship. Remember that money is something, but not everything. As long as we have a kind heart and a grateful attitude towards life, we will live with no regret, regardless of our wealth or reputation. So be kind-hearted to all the creatures, and you’ll live life to the fullest. Thirdly, the responsibility of youth is to let our dream fly high. We are learning and growing up not only for the good of ourselves, but also for the development of the whole society. We have inherited wonderful cultures and heritages from our ancestors. And now it is our turn to carry on making progress to match the glorious past. It's a tough job, but it is worthy that we devote ourselves to this great improvement.Most importantly, the responsibility of youth is to ensure that we have grown powerful enough to be responsible for ourselves and for the world.

今天我演讲的话题是当代大学生的历史使命感和社会责任感。
对于使命和社会责任，，也许你们根本没有考虑过，你们可能认为自己只是一个平凡的人，至于什么使命和责任要交给那些伟大的人，如果你们这样想那就大错特错了。
马克思曾说过：“作为确定的人，现实的人，你就有规定，就有使命，就有任务，至于你是否意识到这一点，那都无所谓，这个任务是由于你的需要及与现存的世界的联系而产生。
”所以在座的每一位都有使命和责任。
一个时代有一个时代人的使命。
抗战的年代，人们有救亡图存的使命，而在和平与发展成为世界的主题的时候，当代大学生的使命变了。
不再是为了国家抛头颅，洒热血，当然更不是没有使命。
对于当代大学生来说，肩负的使命是建设中国特色社会主义，实现中华民族的伟大复兴。
不过这样一个使命，似乎有些遥远，不切实际。
我认为大学生作为接受高等教育的一部分年轻人，是国家最新生最具活力的群体之一。
这就对大学生的职责有了比较高的要求，首先对自己专业知识的掌握，这是最本源的任务和使命，和一切的基础。
其次是对大学生自身的综合素质的要求，作为当代的大学生，只有切实提高自身的综合素质才能够符合高速发展变化的时代要求，担负起时代赋予的历史使命和社会责任。
因而我们当代当代大学生要着眼于自身的全面发展，认真学习党的十六大精神，用“三个代表”的自觉性和坚定性，提高自己的政治水平、政策水平和综合素质。
再次还要接受较高层次文化的熏陶，这是一国一民族文化传承的主要途径。
你可以发现很多国家大学生在文化变革中扮演的都是保守者的角色。
现在我们再来说说责任。
当代大学生的责任，抑或是每个人都应该具有的责任。
首先人应该对自己负责。
人生在世，虽然活着不全是为了自己，却有着对自己的责任，那责任是别人任何人也取代不了的。
对自己负责，就是要做一个无悔无愧的人。
人活着，短暂几十年，不是所有的人都可以成名成家，也不是成名成家就是人生的全部意义。
所以，对自己负责，远不是成名成家那样简单，而是要活得充实，实现自己的人生理想，实现自己的价值。
而价值何在，也许只存在于自己的心中，也许在别人的评价中。
总而言之，不能让自己委屈，也不能让自己遗憾。
同时，作为一个家庭成员，大学生也有着不可推卸的对家庭的责任。
尽管家庭并没有刻意要求。
而正是因为此前对家庭尽到的责任太少，成为大学生后，就更应该增强责任心。
家是一个一出生就有的小环境，是一个永远的归处。
都说“当你失意时，第一个想到要回去的地方就是家”。
家庭成员之间是没有功利的纯正的关系，是都甘愿为其它家庭成员奉献的。
所以，尽一个家庭成员应尽的责任，既是对生我养我的父母的报达，也是给予自己心灵的反馈。
对国家，同样有着责任。
且不论公民的义务，单就国家的培养来说，知恩图报就已经是必然的了。
对国家的责任，也就是历史使命。
天下兴亡，匹夫有则，更别说是国家为之投入了的大学生，更别说是在这个相对和平的年代。
也许这一目标是远的，可是，只要坚定不移，就也是近的了。
作为国家的人民，作为未来的接班人，我们无法也无须逃避我们的使命。
只要能够坚持着自己的方向，所有的人一道努力，就不会有无法实现的目标。
而社会主义中国，才是我们奋斗的热土，才是我们永远的向往。
做一个有责任心的人，做一个无愧无悔的人，作为大学生，生在一个和平年代的大学生，肩负起应有的历史使命，才能使人散发光彩。

大学生生活委员3分钟演讲稿
也许在大多数人看来生活委员一职并不如班长工作那么重要，也不如团支书工作那么明确具体，在班委会中的影响似乎不大。
但我并不这样认为，生活委员在整个班集体中有着不可替代的重要的作用
我们每个人都是大家庭的一员，而生活委员作为班级的管家，更起到了组织整体、关怀细节的作用。
其决策及工作的好坏也影响着整个班集体的发展前途，因此竞选生活委员对自己自身综合素质的要求也很高。
另外，我认为自己也初步具备了作为一名生活委员所应该具备的素质和能力。
在进入大学的这两年来，我一直积极参加各种活动来锻炼和提高自己。
大一担任学生会宣传部副部长一职，大二担任学生会副会长一职。
同时还组织策划过“08年铁路青年志愿者服务”、“走进河南，关爱艾滋孤儿”等大型公益性活动。
我一直以来的努力也赢得了团委老师和广大同学们的认可，曾获得过校级优秀团员干部，院 级社会活动积极份子等荣誉称，另外自己在学习上也力求上进，荣获奖学金证书，并通过了国家英语四级。
且在两年来的工作、学习中，自己的组织能力、与人的交流沟通能力都有了显著的提高,自己还学会了怎样为人处世，怎样解决一些矛盾，怎样协调好同学之间的关系，怎样处理好学习与工作之间的矛盾。
假如下面是我对新学期生活委员一职工作的一个简单计划： 1、协助班主任老师开展各项班级活动，与所有班委会成员协作安排落实各项工作的开展，并对班集体负责。
2、恪尽职责，管理好班级体的财务。
对班集体的财务有明确的规划，支取状况有详细的记录。
3、丰富第二课堂的活动，营造精神家园，丰富同学们校园文化生活。
例如督促配合校举办“院写作大赛”， “大学生英语竞赛” ，“院主持人大赛”等活动，为班级体同学营造健康向上、丰富活泼的校园生活。
4、针对新闻专业的特点，打造我班集体的特色。
组织一些有很强新闻特色的活动，来交流、提高同学们的专业素养及学习兴趣。
如：新闻摄影佳作大赛、新闻稿件展评等活动。
我有幸担任生活委员一职，我将以“服务同学”为宗旨，真正做到为同学们服务 ，代表同学们的权益，为我班集体的建设尽心尽力。
我深知做任何事都要有强烈的责任感，要认真履行自己的职责，才能无愧于心。
这也是我的承诺。
