一，作文体裁。
高中英语作文以应用问为主，包括书信，通知等，还有根据所给提示进行讨论的作文。
这三种类型的格式是不同的。
比如，书信进入正文后要先表明写信的主要目的：是邀请，是询问，是道歉等等。
进入正文后要进行具体内容的展开叙述，一般包括时间，地点，任务，主要事件，人物等。
最后一段要再次点名写信意图，并期待对方回复。
这是书信的格式。
通知则要有通知的格式，有口头通知或者书面通知，作文书里都有详细说明，我就不在这说了。
总而言之，要先确定自己要写一篇什么东西。
二，作文框架，也就是作文分几段写，每段写什么内容。
需要注意的就是，每一段要有一个主题，这一段围绕这个主题写。
三，作文模板句。
所谓模板句就是起到支撑作文框架的作用，在例文中就能看到。
比如，I am writing this letter to inform....这种就可以作为书信告知某人某事的开头一句。
再比如：first and foremost,意为首先且最重要的是。
这个短语，就可以用来引出一个观点。
四，作文的语法。
高中作文语法不要求特别复杂，用到形容词修饰名词，副词，非谓语动词做修饰成分，用到简单的从句（定语从句，名词性从句），并列句，就可以。
五，词汇。
英语作文写作时要求词汇的变化，包括同义词的使用和同根词的使用（一个词的动词形式，名词形式，形容词形式的变化使用，比如exciting，excited，excitement）。
高中英语作文不要求很大词汇量，不要求用生僻词，富有变化就好。
