这篇文章写了三个萍水相逢的穷作家互帮互助的故事。
我港督这篇文章的时候，觉得贝尔曼先生是个有些讨厌的人，还特别喜欢吹嘘，因为我看到书中写他老是说要创造一幅杰作，却没看见他动过手。
越往后看，越觉得他变成了另一个形象。
是的，我初看这篇文章是对他的理解是错误的，他没有吹嘘，最后他完成了他的杰作，是用他的生命完成的

由于他的缘故，使得琼珊又燃起了生的希望。
我一开始哪里知道，只以为是大自然的奇迹，没料到它竟然是用颜料画出来的。
那是由于医疗并不发达，肺炎也足以使一个人死亡，贝尔曼先生是绝对知道的，他为什么要冒生命危险去拯救一个与他毫不相干的人呢

我最喜欢的，是欧亨利的真，和他的淡。
这篇小说里，那异常生动而丰富的细节，来自真实的生活——你，和我，以及数十上百的少数文学作者，都有和欧亨利一样无奈的生活感受。
这方面禽兽说得够多，就不谈了。
因为这样，所以很真实，很共鸣。
但是，在使用这些细节的时候，欧亨利的笔很朴实，很平淡，他总是单刀直入的切入，。
他的人物说话时，除了最简单的描绘，没有其他任何的形容词；人们做事，他也不过如实地淡淡道来。
