于是在妈妈的帮助下，我找到了一本叫《植物未解之谜》的书，书中新鲜的内容和有趣的图解很快吸引我的注意力。
从这本书中我知道了莴苣具有镇静和止痛的作用，它的拉丁文叫：lactuca,其中lac有牛奶的意思，是指这种植物身上可以流出白色带苦味的乳状汁液。
我还看到许多其他的神奇的植物和 自然界中蕴藏的奥妙。
我印象最深的是白蚁和鸡枞。
我们都知道鸡枞是一味味道特别鲜美的菌丝类生物，可是令人奇怪的却是它同其他菌丝类生物不一样，它生长在白蚁的巢穴中或是白蚁出入频繁的地方。
那么为什么会这样呢
原来是白蚁把鸡枞的种子当做食物带到了白蚁的巢穴中，鸡枞又利用白蚁巢穴的适宜温度和湿度环境生存下来，并且它将白蚁的废物——排泄物合理应用，当自己生产的营养成分，来更好得生长。
而白蚁又以鸡枞的菌丝为食物。
两者之间依靠彼此，共同生存。
由此，我想到了我们人类，在很多地方都应该像植物学习。
为什么植物能和不同类的动物共同生存呢?而我们人，有时候却不能和自己的同类和平相处。
小到两人之间的争吵，大到国与国之间的战争。
我们为什么不能像植物一样看到别人的优点，借鉴 别人的缺点，使自己更好地生活呢。

北京香山脚下有两个植物园，北京植物园和中科院植物园，北京植物园是较大的一座。
去北京植物园的人们一般都主要看花和拜佛。

难能可贵的是，在黄叶村周围耸立很多碉楼，是八旗子弟兵们用来做军事训练的，感叹清朝皇帝为保持警觉的煞费苦心
