I believe that one of the factors that makes a piece of literature or even a movie a masterpiece is how well the reader can relate to the story. This is definitely a book everyone can relate to. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a literary masterpieces, written in 1876 by the famous author Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer is a mischievous young boy who lives in the small town on the Mississippi River called St. Petersburg. The story line is simple, the book reads like a biography or a memoir of a summer in Tom Sawyer's life. Tom Sawyer seems to be the precursor of and the template for misfit kids such as Dennis the Menace, Malcolm in the Middle, and Calvin and Hobbs. What makes this story great is that Tom Sawyer represents everything that is great about childhood. The book is filled with Tom's adventures playing pirates and war with his friend Joe Harper. Tom has a trusted friend, Huck Finn, who few of the adults approve of. The book is filled with ideas of how the world works, such as how pirates and robbers work, that are so innocent, they could only come from a child. It is a story filled with action, adventure, ingenious ideas, love, and schoolyard politics. The whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood. The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. Other than referring to persons of African decent in derogatory terms (which I'm sure uses terms even young children already know), the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again, if just for a few hundred pages. Aesop's Fables, Du Hougan If the world is a Marine, then I this is a small fish in the ocean, despite the sea in my book free to travel. One day, I found a bright Linlang Shanzhao as shiny pearl, this pearl is Aesop's Fables. Daliang End The pearl, also found that these pearls of a major feature - on the one moving story, the story of Huanbaohanzhe all kinds of profound truth. I found a The monkeys lying, the story is this: a love of monkeys lying to Athens on board, the boat was on the storm's attack, turned the boat. Dolphins are very much like a human conversation, access to knowledge. Dolphins to Monkeys as human care on the surface of the water, and chat with monkeys, monkeys and in conversations with the lying, exposed the dolphins were indignant after the dolphins, monkeys put up sea, drowned. This is fable to tell us that life, must not lie , Lying and who will therefore be retribution! Therefore, we have to do an honest person, so that we can into it, the lives of the masses, so that would not be despised by the people of the world! As the saying goes well: Honesty is the golden key to the door of knowledge. So, honestly treat people, equivalent to respect other people! Aesop's Fables is a world known as the King of a novel, moving it to one interesting story, describing the text included in a number of knowledge and truth, I see a return to taste, Aha ! Not blowing, this book and China's four famous are evenly matched, can really Niua! I still remember the author of the book Aesop said such a sentence: the United States over the wisdom of the body of the United States. Yes Ah, some people devoted to the appearance of the axis origin, the United States is now the one, the ugly one is negative, they absolutely do not know is that the U.S. is the real heart of the United States. I think that, like Aesop's Fables symbolic of this knowledge, better than the aesthetic, you say which » Now, I have long to The pearl Treasures in mind, the impression that it is always reverberated in my mind! I love you - Aesop's Fables!

我爱你——《伊索寓言》 Tess of the D'urbevilles 长篇小说《德伯家的苔丝》是英国著名小说家和诗人托马斯·哈代(1840-1928)的代表作 yesterday, I read the novel called Tess of the D'urbevilles. written by a famous Englishwriter Thomas Hardy. The novel tells a story about a pretty and good girl called Tess, who lived in a village in Marlott. To her sadness, when she was seventeen, she was no longer a pure and untouched girl. She gave birth to a baby, which didn't live long. So Tess changed from a pure gir l to a grown —up. Because she was the eldest of the 7 children in the family, she found a job to support the whole family in a dairy. There she knew Angel and married him. But unluckily. when Angel knew her sad story, he left her and went to Brazil.Tess led a hard an d lonely life after that. Later when she knew Angel had retumed home and found out that she was living with the man who had given the damage to her before,Tess couldn't accept the fact and killed the man who was living with her. Then she escaped and spent together with Angel three days and nights. The police found them on the moming of the fourth day. A few days later, Tess was executed. Having read this novel, I like the heroine very much because of her purity, warmness, nobility and the spirit of devotion, She dared to fight against the evil, bravely seek and sturggle for the rights of love. Thomas Hardy was famous for the poetical novels. Tess of the D'urbevillesis one of this kind. The novel is so fresh that it is nearly like a poem. For nearly a century, it has been popular with the people all over the world. 哈姆雷特读后感 shakspere (wrong spelling) created hamlet--a man with wisdom and courage .in order to revenge on his uncle for killing his father, he pretented (spelling mistake) to be mad and suffered a series of misery. on the contrary, we can also say that hamlet is rude and selfish for he did not think twice before his revenge . if (capitalize if since it is the beginning word of the sentence.) a country has no king, how can a country keep alive (you need a question mark here since it is a question.) so, every thing has two sides, the bright side and adumbral side. every time we make a decision we have to think twice. comment: be careful with your spelling, grammar, and punctuation. too many uncessary mistakes. it is good that you looked at both the dark and bright sides of hamlet. thats quite objective and convincing.

In order to train the ability, we often do research on study(research into study). Sometimes one of us teaches ourselves. We have various outside activities, such as singing, dancing, English corner, and taking computer lessons. Basketball and football are our favourite sports. In the evening we can watch news on TV, do experiments by ourselves and have talks and discussions of our subjects. Please make sure that our school life is getting more and more colourful and interesting.Best wishes. With the rapid development of science and technology, tele-education has sped up in our country. While many people speak highly of its advantages, others see more disadvantages deriving from it.The advocates of tele-education give their arguments as follows. For one thing, tele-education makes it possible for people in remote areas to learn the subjects they are interested in. For another, people have a wider range of choices as to teachers and lessons through tele-education, because they can listen to the best lessons by the best teachers in the country, or even in the world.Just as “Every advantage has its disadvantages”, the opponents believe that not all the people have access to tele-education because many are poor. In addition, the students cannot contact teachers, but interpersonal relations are important to their study. As far as I am concerned, we should develop tele-education more rapidly to benefit more students. Meanwhile, we can design some programs to help teachers and students to contact each other. March 20, 2006Once someone has asked me this question: the greatest love what is love? 希望可以采纳哦~亲~Jane Eyre — A Beautiful Soul(简爱) Jane Eyre, is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. After we close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, Jane Eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think: We remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past. We remember her pursuit of justice. It’s like a companion with the goodness. But still, a virtuous person should promote the goodness on one side and must check the badness on the other side. We remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. In her opinion, everyone is the same at the God’s feet. Though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance, but all the human being are equal in personality. We also remember her striving for life, her toughness and her confidence… When we think of this girl, what she gave us was not a pretty face or a transcendent temperament that make us admire deeply, but a huge charm of her personality. Her story makes us thinking about life and we learn much from her experience, at least, that is a fresh new recognition of the real beauty. Learn to love and care(雾都孤儿) Here I am sitting on a couch alone, thinking about what I have just finished reading with tears of sadness filling my eyes and fire of indignation filling my heart, which revived my exhausted soul that has already been covered by the cruelty and the selfishness of the secular world for a long time. It is truly what I felt after reading Oliver Twist, written by the prominent British author Charles Dickens. The resonance between me and the book makes me feel not only the kindness and the wickedness of all the characters in the novel, but what this aloof society lacks, and what I lack deep inside. These supreme resources I’m talking about right now are somewhat different from minerals, oil that we usually mention. They’re abstract like feelings, and some kinds of spiritual stimulation that all of us desire anxiously from one another —— love and care. Those charitable figures whom Dickens created in the novel are really what we need in life. They showed love and care to others, just as the gentle rain from the sky fell upon the earth, which was carved into my heart deeply. Mr. Brownlow is one such person. The other day he had one of his elaborate watches stolen by two skilled teenage thieves, Artful Dodger and Charley Bates, and thought naturally it was Oliver, who was an orphan and forced to live with a gang of thieves, that had done it because he was the only one near by after the theft had taken place. Being wrathful, he caught Oliver, and sent him to the police station where the ill-tempered, unfair magistrates worked. Fortunately for him, Oliver was proved innocent by one onlooker afterwards. With sympathy, Mr. Brownlow took the injured, poor Oliver to his own home. There Oliver lived freely and gleefully for some months as if he were Mr. Brownlow’s own son. One day, however, Mr. Brownlow asked Oliver to return some books to the bookseller and to send some money for the new books that he had already collected. The thief Oliver once stayed with kidnapped him. After that he disappeared in Mr. Brownlow’s life. Searching for a while, Mr. Brownlow had to believe the fact that he had run away with his money. But dramatically, they came across each other again a few years later. Without hesitation, Mr. Brownlow took Oliver home for the second time not caring if he had done something evil. Perhaps most of us would feel confused about Mr. Brownlow’s reaction. But as a matter of fact, this is just the lesson we should learn from him. Jesus said in the Bible. “Forgive not seven times, but seventy-times seven.” Why is that? Because forgiveness is our ability to remove negative thoughts and neutralize them so our energy may be spent on doing what we came here for. We cannot move forward in our future if past issues cloud our thinking. Stop put Mr. Brownlow into the list of your models. Always give people a second chance no matter what they might have done. That’s also a substantial part of loving and caring others. Charles Dickens said:“Love makes the world go around.” These immortal words have inspired and will keep on inspiring us to chant the melody of love and to say the prayer of care forevermore. Let us, therefore, enjoy life and treat other people lovingly. These principles are the roots and foundations of beliefs supporting this article and our mission together. Pride and Prejudice (傲慢与偏见) Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. She perfectly reflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave the people in her works vivid characters. The characters have their own personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off her daughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feel superior. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn’t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century. The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen’s favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book. Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time. Hamlet(哈姆雷特) Shakspere (wrong spelling) created Hamlet--a man with wisdom and courage .In order to revenge on his uncle for killing his father, he pretented (spelling mistake) to be mad and suffered a series of misery.

From ADVENTURES OF HUCKLEBERRY FINN Chapter 15 We judged that three nights more Would fetch us to Cairo, 1at the bottom of Illinois, where the Ohio River comes in, andthat was what we was after. We would sell the raft and get on a steamboat and go way up the Ohio amongst the free States, and then be out of trouble.2 Well, the second night a fog begun to come on, and we made for a tow-head to tie to, for it wouldn't do to try to run in fog; but when I paddled ahead i n the canoe, with the line, to make fast, there warn't anything but little saplings totie to.I passed the line around one of them right on the edge of the cut bank, but there was a stiff current, and the raft come booming down so lively she tore it out by the roots and away she went.I see the fog closing down, and it made meso sick and scared I couldn't budge for most a half a minuteit seemed to me—and then there warn't no raft in sight;you couldn't see twenty yards.3 I jumped into the canoe and runback to the stern and grabbed the paddle and set her back a stroke. But she didn't come, I was in such a hurry Ihadn't untied her.I got up and tried to untie her, but I was so excited my hands shook so I couldn't hardly do anything with them. As soon as I got started I took out after the raft, hot and heavy, right down the tow-head.4 That was all right as far asit went, but the tow-head warn't sixty yards long, and theminute I flew by the foot of it I shot out into the solid whitefog, and hadn't no more idea which way I was going than adead man. Thinks I, it won't do to paddle;first I know I'll run intothe bank or a tow-head or something;I got to set still andfloat, and yet it's mighty fidgety business to have to hold yourhands still at such a time.I whooped and listened.Away downthere, somewheres, I hears a small whoop, and up comes myspirits.I went tearing after it, listening sharp to hear it again. The next time it come, I see I warn't heading for it but head-ing away to the right of it.And the next time, I was head-ing away to the left of it—and not gaining on it much, either, for I was flying around, this way and that and 'tother, 5but it was going straight ahead all the time. I did wish the fool would think to beat a tin pan, and beatit all the time, but he never did, and it was the still placesbetween the whoops that was making the trouble for me.Well, I fought along, and directly I hears the whoops behind me.Iwas tangled good, now. That was somebody else's whoop.orelse I was turned around. I throwed the paddle down.I heard the whoop again;itwas behind me yet, but in a different place;it kept coming, and kept changing its place, and I kept answering, till by-and-by it was in front of me again and I knowed the current hadswung the canoe's head down stream and I was all right, ifthat was Jim and not some other raftsman hollering.I could-n't tell nothing about voices in a fog, for nothing don't looknatural nor sound natural in a fog. The whooping went on, and in about a minute I come a booming down on a cut bank6 with smoky ghosts of big treeson it, and the current throwed me off to the left and shot by, amongst a lot of snags that fairly roared, the current was tear-ing by them so swift. In another second or two it was solid white and still again.I set perfectly still, then, listening to my heart thump, and Ireckon I didn't draw a breath while it thumped a hundred. I just give up, then.I knowed what the matter was.Thatcut bank was an island, and Jim had gone down 'tother sideof it.It warn't no tow-head, that you could float by in tenminutes. It had the big timber of a regular island;it mightbe five or six mile long and more than a half a mile wide. I kept quiet, with my ears cocked, about fifteen minutes, Ireckon.I was floating along, of course, four or five mile anhour; but you don't ever think of that. No, you feel like youare laying dead still on the water;and if a little glimpse of a snap slips by, you don't think to yourself how fast you're go-ing, but you catch your breath and think my

how that snag'stearing along.lf you think it ain't dismal and lonesome outin a fog that way, by yourself, in the night, you try it once— you'll see. Next, for about a half an hour, I whoops now and then;atlast I hears the answer a loog ways off, and tries to follow it, but I couldn't do it, and directly I judged I'd got into a nestof towheads, for I had little dim glimpses of them on bothsides of me, sometimes just a narrow channel between;andsome that I couldn't see, I knowed was there, because I'd hearthe wash of the current against the old dead brush and trashthat hung over the banks.Well, I warn't long losing thewhoops, down amongst the towheads;and I only tried to chasethem a little while, anyway, because it was worse than chas-ing a Jack-o-lantern.You never knowed a sound dodge aroundso, and swap places so quick and so much.
