Frankly, I’m not even sure the CGI they use here is up to the task of displaying the kinds of emotions these people are trying to illicit from their characters. The humans more closely resemble totem poles than they do living, breathing, creatures. It’s laughable watching their polygon-limited faces trying to emote in response to the story’s attempts at heartfelt, soft touches. Thankfully, the main characters are animals, which are at least bearably rendered to slapstick fun levels. As a result, what slapstick there is, is highly entertaining. Sure, Ray Romano’s vocal talents aren’t particularly spectacular. But Dennis Leary and the always-odd John Leguizamo cover for his mammoth ineptitude without hesitation.The story itself is bland, boring, and uninspired, as is the almost laughably bad animation. The film’s only real saving graces are some slapstick side trips into the world of an unlucky squirrel and a group of soon-to-be-extinct melon-hoarding dodos. Ice Age’s comedy is worthy of Bugs, but unless you’re under 5, you’ll be bored with everything else.

另外，人类生活中的衣食住行都离不开水。
工农业生产中也不能离开水，水是工农业生产的重要原料。
在农业生产中消耗的淡水量占人类消耗淡水总量的60%—80%，工业上也要用大量的水进行生产。
另外，水在内河与海洋运输上也起着重要作用。
在自然界中淡水量不到水总量的1%。
据21世纪城市水资源国际学术研讨会透露，联合国已经把我国列为世界上13个最缺水的国家之一，目前我国人均用水量是世界人均用水量的30%左右。
人类现在用水量越来越大，且污染也越来越严重，这就要求我们要保护水资源。
开学典礼家长演讲稿
各位家长朋友： 你们好
今天我受学校的委托，在这里就孩子的成长问题做一些探讨。
有不妥之处，欢迎指正，并提出宝贵意见。
我准备讲三个问题： 一、在当今素质教育下，我们如何做家长? 二、如何在学习上引导孩子呢
三、在学习上与孩子真诚交流 （时间在三十分钟左右） 一、在当今素质教育下，我们如何做家长? 现在，家长聚在一起，谈论最多的是学校实行素质教育后的喜怒哀乐。
有的说：“孩子作业少了，考试少了，周末补课取消了。
”一句话，自由支配的时间多了。
有的说：“孩子除了在外疯玩以外，就是玩电脑游戏、上网聊QQ、用手机发信息，学习的时间少了，将来恐怕竞争力差。
”一句话，家长的担忧也多了。
只要有升学考试，家长的担忧就不会少。
教育部提倡素质教育是及时的，学生可以从繁重的课业中解脱出来，有更多的时间按照自己的能力和兴趣爱好来安排自己，学会生活、学会生存、学会自主学习，拓展课外知识，发展自己的特长，真正提高孩子的智商和情商，从而提高孩子的整体素质。
但是理想和现实却出现了差距。
问题出在：孩子已习惯了老师牵着手走路，一旦离开了老师的牵手，一时感觉茫然，不知怎么学、学什么，于是有的同学就放纵自己，家长也无可奈何，只有叹气的份。
一些家长又走上另一个极端，双休日，马不停蹄带着孩子奔赴各个辅导班、提高班、兴趣班，孩子只有半天时间做自己的事情，弄得家长孩子好疲惫，学习效果也不见得有多好。
现在大部分家庭有电脑、一部分孩子有手机、MP3，他们把高科技产品不是作为学习用具而是作为玩家的工具，这是资源的极大浪费，实在可惜!我家孩子充分利用MP3听英语，家里电脑成为全家人学习和了解信息的好帮手。
里面装有《中华诗词》、《成语故事》、《奥数题解》、《电子词典》、《象棋软件》、《新概念英语1-3册》、《新英语300句》、《新英语900句》、《走遍美国》等等与孩子学习、益智有关的东西，小游戏作为孩子完成学习任务后的自我奖励才玩一会儿。
作为家长，要扶好孩子这一程。
多与孩子进行心灵的交流，与孩子一起走向大自然，亲近大自然，了解社会，了解各层次人的不同生活环境，帮助孩子树立人生目标，理出学习计划，并监督孩子完成计划。
讲清沉迷电脑游戏的危害，把孩子的精力引到培养学习能力和锻炼生活技能上来，对学习不太自觉的孩子，家长要靠上去抓，并以身作则，家长的素质决定孩子的素质。
如果你在玩电脑游戏，或出去打麻将，你让孩子好好学习，那是不可能的。
二、如何在学习上引导孩子呢
我有两个孩子，女儿小慧，在05年的中考中，以学校第一名的成绩考入油田一中理科实验班；今年3月，参加中国海洋大学小语种提前招生考试，来自全国近1500名考生，女儿以全国第一名的成绩提前被中国海洋大学法语专业录取。
更重要的是，女儿对自己的人生充满自信，做事严谨认真，自理能力强。
儿子明明，聪明机灵，自制力强，自学能力突出，是校“十佳少先队员”，在校学习成绩优异，在数学、计算机、科普知识、英语、中国象棋等方面有浓厚的兴趣，知识面广。
（在学校数学竞赛中，五次参加，五次获第一名，英语成绩98分以上，听说能力远远超过同龄孩子） 有的家长问：“你的孩子学习那么好，又让你省心，你到底用了什么秘诀
”如果说有什么秘诀的话，那就是家长对孩子从小引导得法，重视学习习惯的培养，兴趣的培养、呵护自信心，再加上他们自己刻苦努力的结果。
下面我只讲讲如何学好语文、数学、外语。
语文方面：多阅读、多写作 对语文的学习：我的两个孩子都是在三四岁开始阅读的，培养了他们喜欢书、爱读书的个性。
小学阶段是最佳阅读时期，到了初中、高中已没有多少时间享受阅读了。
家长在选择书时，除了照顾孩子的兴趣以外，其他方面的书不容忽视。
如科普书、史记故事、人物传记、名著名篇、唐诗宋词等。
要重视古文的阅读和古诗词的欣赏，这一点是我女儿的教训。
她在备战海大考试时，恶补了两个月。
家长可以采取跟孩子一起读书，比赛读书，互相讲解书中内容，把孩子读的书目记录下来等方法，使孩子读书有成就感。
对于字、词、句方面的基础，要靠长期积累，家长一定要检查督促孩子掌握好。
写作方面：女儿偏爱文，文章写得好，儿子却在理科方面有优势。
如何让不喜欢写作的孩子写作呢
我想了一个方法：编书。
利用寒假、暑假的机会，让孩子写上若干篇文章，可以是命题作文，可以是观察日记，游记、小说等题材，集结成书，自己打字、排版、配上插图，再由妈妈写上前言或后记、评语，打印装订成册，开学后送给老师一本，自己存档一本。
我儿子已有这样的“书”四本了。
孩子一有空翻阅自己的“书”，自豪感油然而生。
这是提高写作兴趣的有效办法。
家长要做的是尽量提供写作素材，如与孩子一起旅游、一起参加活动、一起观看电视片等，督促孩子按计划完成写作任务。
数学方面：多动脑、多思考 ①家长要有心：让孩子在学中玩，玩中学（学习的最高境界），平时一家人在吃饭、散步、玩耍时谈论生活中的趣味数学，如植树问题、冰箱温度显示了解正负数问题，散步时了解速度问题，做家务时了解工程问题；分吃蛋糕时了解分数问题等等。
生活处处有数学。
高考中的大题也是解决生活中的实际问题。
②鼓励孩子一题多解，然后分析比较。
解题不在多，而在精，儿子有一个题找出11种解法的记录。
鼓励孩子找出新知识、发现新问题，也不讥笑提出浅显的问题。
今年春节时，儿子思考了三天，用自己的方法推导出等比数列求和公式，着实让我兴奋了好一阵子。
③对成绩好一点的同学，可以选看一些奥数题，达到开阔思路的目的，可以按自己的兴趣选看，不扼杀自信心。
数学稍差点的，家长要引导孩子搞懂书本上的知识，家长顾不上的，一定要鼓励孩子去问老师或同学。
英语方面：多说多背，鼓励超前学习 ① 家里有条件的：人文条件：如家人会英语的，一定要利用有利条件用英语对话，鼓励孩子敢于开口，家长要高度重视孩子的英语听说能力。
儿子和他姐姐经常用英语对话，在家经常开展辩论赛，一正一反，找一些有趣的话题，如“女人可不可以理光头?”“垃圾可不可以放在马路上?”“养狗好不好
”等等，甚至诡辩都可以，只要自圆其说，目的是讲英语、锻炼敏捷思维的能力。
形式也可多种多样，可英文，不会说的用中文，甚至中英混杂，慢慢就熟能生巧，应用自如了。
物质条件：家里有电脑的，利用放学以后20分钟时间，看一段情景对话，或看一段英文动画片如《小鸡快跑》、《料理鼠王》、《冰河世纪》等等，（最好是说英文带中文字幕的），推荐《新英语300句》，原版英文电影《小鬼当家》等。
②缺这些条件的，听磁带，多背课文，大声朗读。
模仿背诵是一个经验之谈，在没有语言环境的条件下，只有靠背，才能背出语感，背会语法，背出成就感。
《新概念英语二》是本好教材，内容有趣，孩子喜欢。
儿子背诵起来，陶醉其中。
语音、语调完全模仿老外，连他姐姐都自愧弗如。
三、在学习上与孩子真诚交流 1、签字问题：孩子平时的作业、考试试卷要家长签字，有的家长只草草地签个“考的不好
”“一般
”“继续努力
”等就自己忙去了。
这是对孩子不负责任的态度，签字的时候，是跟孩子交流的最好机会，应该心平气和地跟孩子坐下来，一起分析错误原因，找出问题所在，然后有针对性的学习或练习。
作业、考试的目的就是发现学习中存在的问题，你是希望把问题暴露在中考、高考前呢，还是希望把问题暴露在中考、高考之中呢
这样一想，你就不会心急了。
家长要注意不要忽略粗心，学数学的一个目的，就是要锻炼你做事缜密，不粗心的能力，所以粗心不是理由。
2、教会孩子做总结，做错题集。
有的同学只在作业或试卷上把错误改正过来就万事大吉了，这只做了一半，还有更重要的一步，就是要分析错题原因，可以用不同颜色的笔写出，还可推广开来。
如果是数学，再列举一些同类型的题做一做；英语可再造一个句子。
一个章节学完了，要总结知识脉络，一学期结束了要总结进步原因、失败的教训。
我女儿每天都对自己的各个方面的表现情况给予自我评价（上课听讲效率、错题更正是否及时、零碎时间利用情况、心情是否愉快、睡觉情况等等）。
看是浪费，实则在把握时间，把我自我。
我儿子在大的活动、大的比赛、学期结束后都有总结，有时跟父母谈，有时跟姐姐谈，有时口述，有时做书面总结。
总之，我们家长要及时引导、鼓励、督促。
用欣赏的眼光去看待孩子，用表率的力量去激励孩子。
最后，祝大家有一个好心情，祝每个孩子都健康、快乐、幸福地成长。
