今天，我看了一本书，书名叫《海鸥乔纳森》。
这本书主要内容是这样的：有一只海鸥，名字叫乔纳森，他是一只不平凡的海鸥。因为他并不满足于和其他海鸥一道围绕着码头和渔船嘎嘎叫着争食吃，扎到海里抢点儿面包片和烂鱼。他认为这样一点意义也没有，在高空翱翔才能让他觉得快乐。于是，他每天练习高空飞行，他对此的热爱，达到了废寝忘食的地步。然而，一只海鸥做这样的事，实在是太困难了。有一天，他在海面上飞行时从空中坠落下来，醒来时已是半夜，当时，他觉得自己已经没希望了，发誓不再胡思乱想，安分守己地过着普通的生活就行了。在飞回去的过程中，他无意间领悟到新的飞行技巧。他便重振信心，继续琢磨更好的飞行技术。这种行为遭到了海鸥家族强烈反对，他被驱逐了。后来，他遇到了两只志同道合的海鸥前辈，跟随着他们加入了新的鸥群，从那儿，他不仅学到了更加高超的飞行技术，还懂得了心无止境的道理。
再后来，他收了很多徒弟，耐心地启发、教导他们，让他们的思想超越身体，直到心灵深处；还教会他们理解与包容，甚至还原谅了当时驱逐他的鸥群。最后，他为了帮助其他的像他一样的'海鸥，永远地开了他的学生们。
看了这本书后，感触很多。对呀，连一只普通的不能再普通的海鸥都可以追求自己的梦想，并为此而不懈地努力，那人呢？人也可以！但丁说过一句话：“走自己的路，让别人说去吧。”没错，只要你做的选择是正确的，就应该坚持下去，不怕别人嘲笑。在文章中，乔纳森用自己的信念和生命告诉了我们如何以最幸福的方式度过一生。也正如新鸥群中的长老吉昂所说：“世界上根本就没有天堂这么个地方。天堂不是空间，也不是时间。天堂就是做到尽善尽美。（这里我做了点改动）”对呀，只要我们心里存在尽善尽美这个理想，不论你是否聪明、是否机智，只要我们尽自己的做大努力追求它，就是最好的了。一个人不论年龄长幼、容貌美丑，都应该拥有属于自己的梦想，并且不顾一切地去努力追求。尽管路途上不会一帆风顺，会遇到许多的艰难险阻，但是只要你根据自己的能力坚持正确的方向，并且相信自己的选择，就一定能实现梦想，获得成功！是啊！对于任何一个生命，生存就应该向往自由，向着自己的目标前进，不要被他人的七嘴八舌所影响。

放假了，终于有充足的时间读书了。选那本好呢？我轻轻地抚摸着这本书的封皮，只见湛蓝的海天融为一体，一只海鸥正在展翅翱翔。“海鸥乔纳森”5个白色的楷体字映入眼帘。这会是怎样的.一个故事呢？我忍不住翻开书页，亟不可待地读了起来。
故事从一只平凡、渺小的海鸥说起。乔纳森是一只不满足于现状的年轻海鸥。他觉得生活不应该仅仅被限定于吃、住、与鸥群争抢这些无谓的事情。于是，他冒着违反群鸥规定而被流放的危险，偷偷去练习高难度的飞翔本领。结果，他还是没能逃此厄运，被逐出了鸥群。
虽然孤零零的独身一人，可这却磨练了他的意志，使他有机会学会了更多的高难度动作。后来，他遇见了两只能帮助他进入更高境界的海鸥，在那里，他成为了长老吉昂的弟子，学会了更重要的东西：他懂得了人的思想是无限的，人是要有追求的。我们不能拘泥于自己只是一个渺小的“人”，更重要的是你必须明确你的梦想，即使它看起来虚无缥缈。

眼下，我们正处在小升初的关键时期，每个人都盼望进入自己理想的中学。奥数、英语、作文填满了我们的生活。我不禁感慨起不少的大人们，他们虽然也极力推荐孩子们读古书、读世界名着，但目的往往只是为了应付考试，为了能多考回几分。难道前人留给我们的书籍只是用来背答案的吗？结论当然不是的。

Feeling: When we judge something, we should judge it by heart. Everything is unique and nonesuch for someone. We wander in this world and finally we find our beloved one and cherish what we love.

At first Jonathan thought: “ My father was right. I must forget this foolishness. I must fly Home to the Flock and be content as I am, as a poor limited seagull.” He seemed to surrender to his predestination.
And then “he climbed two thousand feet above the black sea, and without a moment for thought of failure and death, he brought his forewings tightly in to his body, left only the narrow swept daggers of his wingtips extended into the wind, and fell into a vertical dive.” He forgot what had promised himself and what remained in his heart was only passion and ambition. Sometimes determination don’t determine everything. Once you have tried, despite your failure, you still feel proud and have zeal for more chances. That’s the way people change their life.
If we don’t spread every effort to challenge ourselves, we will never be able to see the panorama of the sky or to find our own pieces of sky to fly under. If you want to be explorer, then be one! If you have a dream, then find no excuses! Only when we try to fly do we realize we may fly that high. There is no limitation for a sincere dreamer.
