老白最后杀mike并非是恼羞成怒。
他是已经为了建立毒品帝国不择手段了，但他也只是为了自保和达到目的而不择手段，还不至于意气用事；他自负，但是还没愚蠢。
他去见Mike和最终杀Mike，都是有目的。
核心目的就是取得11人的名单然后好做掉11人，他去找麦克，是想让他交出11人。
可以猜测有两种情况，一是麦克以为他会继续pay off那些人，交出名单，然后老白必将杀死麦克（他已经提前拿走了麦克的枪做好了准备），因为麦克不会允许老白杀那些人，这在e08老白和Lydia会面时通过Lydia之口已经说明了。
第二种情况就是现实中发生的，麦克看准老白的用意，不交出名单，这时老白除了气愤，其实已经没必要杀麦克了，所以他先是走开了，但是他随即想到可以从Lydia那获得名单，那么就又归入了第一种情况的逻辑，他需要杀死麦克以免麦克阻止他灭口。
有人认为老白后来说意识到可以找Lydia要名单的意思是后悔找麦克了，那就理解错了，相反，这正是他要杀麦克的原因。
他最后是对mike说了表示愧歉的话，i'm sorry.this whole thing could have been avoided.因为他从感情上是不想杀mike的，但是潜台词却是given the situation here,i have no choice but to kill you.望采纳。
