英语中状语为什么可以是个句子
比如状语从句的状语不就是个句子。
状语常常不是句子，短多，通常是主句后对句子状充说明。
举个例子I played LOL last night.中last night做时间状语修饰句子I played LOL.译为，我昨晚玩了英雄联盟。
状语从句当然是句子，有完整的句子结构，在整个句子里充当不同的成分：时间、地点、原因、让步ect, 如：Though it rained heavily，all of us arrived on time.其中Though it rained heavily为让步状语从句修饰主句译为：尽管雨下得很大，（但）我们都按时到了。
