很简单，和中文一样，英文里也用象声词来表达许多动物的声音。
我们常会听到猫 “喵呜”“喵呜”所以在英语里我们就用象声词miaow mew来表达。

另外我们还可以用pur来形容猫叫。
Pur的本意是“咕噜、咕噜”的声音。
