《Someone I want to meet》From childhood, after reading a myriad of children's books and christmas songs, I had continuously wanted to meet Santa Claus. From the perspective of a naïve child, I had always categorized people into 'good people' and 'bad people'; Santa Claus was the quitessential good person, highly capable and highly knowledgable, and best of all, flawless. He can accurately determine who has been good and bad before every Christmas, and every time without fail, he would ride across the world in his sledge. Every Christmas morning, I would anticipate presents from Santa awaiting in my living room, but there were always none. I had always pondered: why are some people getting presents when I do not? Am I really a 'bad person'? Since then, I would always try to help others to become a 'good person', but the presents still did not arrive. One day, my parents revealed to me that Santa Claus did not exist. I was replete with poignancy. Although I have since given up hope to meet Santa Claus, on every Christmas eve, I would look up at the night sky, awating for Santa to come.
