长篇英汉双语演讲稿
书是人类进步的阶梯。
古语有云：“书中自有黄金屋，书中自有颜如玉。
”书是人类精神的粮食。
在书中我曾经与诗仙李白斗诗百篇;与范仲淹等“先天下之忧而忧，后天下之乐而乐。
”读书不仅让我乐不思蜀，也让我体会到“蓦然回首，那人却在灯火阑珊处的意境。
”因此，书如同我生命中必不可少的良师益友。
我是在读书中享受艺术美，享受其带来的无穷乐趣。
我可以畅游在书的海洋里，坐着轻舟在三峡中勇进，去感受李白“两岸猿声啼不住，轻舟已过万重山”的喜悦，也可以漫步于塞外广漠的草原之上，去领略王维所点燃的直冲云霄的孤烟，欣赏那动人且让人流连忘返的“长河落日圆”，还可以欣赏“衔远山，吞长江，浩浩荡荡，横无际涯，朝晖夕阳”如此壮阔的岳阳楼。
而看《巴黎圣母院》则让我印象深刻的是作者笔下的当时的那些建筑，那些奢华的象征权力的教堂，人们还不知道可以拥有自己的思想，以及为了自己的愿望可以做什么事情，一切都假借神圣的宗教，一切都假借神圣的教堂来展现，展现建筑家的审美观，也就是个人的才华，或者展示自己的能力，我想那时的人们，把人性深深地埋在一件神圣的宗教的外衣下面，典型的人物就是副主教--克洛德。
从那许多的错综复杂的毫无章法的建筑群，我们不难看出，当时人们的内心是怎样的压抑，怎样狂躁，那些像雨后春笋一般从地下冒出来的教堂的尖顶，正是人们扭曲的灵魂在对着苍天做这无声的哀号!这则又让我体悟到书中也有腐浊黑暗。
而看书也使我学到了很多道理，比如：《当危险来临的时候》教给我当危险来临的时候要勇敢面对，以及采取的措施，《生命之谜》让我了解了人类的进化史，和许多人各种奇异的生活习惯。
《西游记》使我知道了做人要勇敢、善良，像孙悟空那样敢于承担责任，还要有一颗坚持到底的恒心，要勇于克服困难，最终一定会胜利。
《三国演义》，让我领略到诸葛亮舌战群儒的风采;《钢铁是怎样练成的》让我体会到人生的真谛和生命的意义;《福尔摩斯》，则让我领会到其侦破诸多离奇案件的机智和勇敢。

Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young . When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80. From the moment we have a new idea, we can explore it; we can develop it with a research grant; we can protect it with a patent; we can market it with a loan to start a new business. We’ve got a chain that takes a great idea all the way through. We must be confirmed that, today, the challenges we face are real. They are serious they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But we will somehow find a way to overcome the difficulties. My major is XXX. For those of you that have experienced some hardships – don’t give up on your dream.The rough times are gonna come, but they have not come to stay, they have come to pass. Greatness, is not this wonderful, esoteric, illusive, God like feature that only the special among can achieve. It’s something that truly exists, in all of us. It’s very important for you to believe that you are the one!Most people they raise a family, they earn a living and then they die. They stop growing, they stop working on themselves, they stop stretching, the stop pushing themselves. Then a lot of people like to complain but they don’t wanna do anything about their situation. When you become the ‘right-person’, what you do is you start separating yourself from other people you begin to have a certain uniqueness, as long as you follow other people, as long as you are being a ‘copy-cat’, you will never ever be the best copy-cat in the world but you will be the best you can be!I challenge you to define your value.Everybody won’t see it, everybody won’t join you, everybody won’t have the vision…it’s necessary to know that you are an uncommon breed.
