2010感动中国钱伟长事迹 50字左右 急
中国近代力学奠基人之一，著名科学家、教育家和社会活动家钱伟长7月30日6时许在上海逝世，享年98岁。
钱伟长一生传奇，年轻求学时弃文从理，只因为“祖国的需要就是我的专业”；作为“两弹一星”元勋，他与钱学森、钱三强并称“三钱”；晚年，他倡导的学分制、三学期制成为教育改革的里程碑…… 因“9·18事变”弃文从理 1912年，钱伟长出生于江苏无锡一个诗书家庭。
在18岁那年的高考中，他以中文和历史两个100分的成绩走进了清华大学。
钱伟长属于“偏科生”，在数理上一塌糊涂，物理只考了5分，数学、化学共考了20分，英文因没学过是0分。
但正是这样一个在文史上极具天赋、数理上极度“瘸腿”的学生，却在一夜之间做出了一个大胆的决定：弃文从理——— 这个决定缘于他进入历史系的第二天，这一天正是1931年9月18日，日本发动了震惊中外的“9·18事变”，侵占了东北三省。
从收音机里听到了这个消息后，钱伟长拍案而起，他说：我不读历史系了，我要学造飞机大炮。
“国家的需要，就是我的专业。
”起初，物理系主任根本不收他，经他软磨硬泡才勉强同意，但只能试学一段时间。
为了能尽早赶上课程，他早起晚归，废寝忘食，极度用功。
毕业时，他成为了物理系中成绩最好的学生之一。
论文曾让爱因斯坦感叹 1935年，他考取清华大学研究院和高梦旦奖学金，在导师吴有训的指导下做光谱分析。
延至1940年8月赴加拿大多伦多大学，在J.L·辛格教授指导下研究板壳理论，1942年获博士学位。
1942年至1946年，他在美国加州理工学院和喷射推进研究所，与钱学森、林家翘、郭永怀一起，在世界导弹之父冯·卡门教授的指导下从事航空航天领域的研究工作。
钱伟长的博士论文《弹性板壳的内禀理论》，发表于世界导弹之父冯·卡门的60岁祝寿文集内，爱因斯坦看后，感叹：这位中国青年解决了困扰我多年的问题。
此文奠定了钱伟长在美国科学界的地位。
拒绝中美交战时为美国效力 1946年，在国外生活得很好的钱伟长回到国内，到清华大学任教。
他曾回忆说：“我是中国人，我要回去。
虽然回国后，第一个月的工资只够买一个暖水瓶，但我从来没有后悔过，更从来没有对国家丧失过信心。
”1947年，钱伟长获得一个赴美从事研究工作的机会。
当他到美国领事馆填写申请表时，发现最后一栏写有“如果中国和美国开战，你会为美国效力吗
”钱伟长毅然填上了“NO”。
二战时曾帮伦敦免遭德国导弹袭击 二战期间，当伦敦正在遭受德国V1、V2导弹威胁的时候，丘吉尔向美国请求援助。
这件事被转到了美国加州大学著名科学家冯·卡门教授主持的喷气推进研究所。
当时，钱伟长正在这个研究所从事火箭、导弹的设计试制工作，钱伟长仔细研究过德国导弹的射程和射点后发现，德国的火箭多发自欧洲的西海岸，而落点则在伦敦东区，这说明德军导弹的最大射程也仅如此了。
据此，钱伟长提出：只要在伦敦市中心地面造成被击中的假象，以此蒙蔽德军，使之仍按原射程攻击，伦敦就可避免遭受导弹伤害。
这一招很灵，几年后，丘吉尔在回忆录中谈及此事时，曾不胜感激地赞赏道：“美国青年真厉害。
”可他直到最后也不知道，与德军玩了个雕虫小技的人并不是美国青年，而是中国青年，即后来成为我国著名科学家的钱伟长。
倡议拆掉“四堵墙” 1983年，钱伟长辞去长达38年的清华教授职务，只身到上海工业大学担任校长。
担任校长期间，钱伟长提出“三制”——— 学分制、选课制和短学期制，这些当时看来十分“前卫”的教改措施，如今已成为高等教育的主流方式。
钱伟长倡议拆掉各系科、专业、部门，以及教育和科研之间的“四堵墙”，抓师资队伍、科学学制、办学设施等方面的建设，也抓学生的全面发展和素质培养。
他说：“我从美国回来就是为了祖国，我要培养更好的学生
