在美留学生活免不了要和外国人饭桌上打交道，可能大部分人适应一段时间后一些基本饭桌礼仪都比较清楚了，但是以下的七条“基本”礼仪你知道吗？如果知道那就恭喜你了，如果不知道你还觉得你对美国文化了解的多吗？
1. 什么时候应该开始吃
在所有人就座和拿到食物之前开吃是很不礼貌的，需要等候所有人有吃的了才可以开始吃，有些家庭会吃前祈祷，但是和朋友一起吃几乎不会祈祷的，不管信徒多还是少，宗教性质是让美国人敏感的一个元素。
2. 吃饭时将头凑到碗上面
外国人吃饭都是将食物拿起放进嘴里面，而且坐的一般都比较直，只有放食物的时候身体会稍微前倾。而中国人习惯凑到碗边吃，所以外国人从你吃饭姿势就可以看出来你是fobs，是被认为没有文化和野蛮低下。
3. 晚餐时将手肘放在桌上
晚餐在美国属于比较正式的`一顿饭，稍微正式一点的晚餐，将手肘杵在桌上被视为不礼貌哦，其实整个过程手肘都不应该放在桌子上的，但这很明显是很多国人的习惯，想要融入和不被鄙视就改改吧。
4. 吃饭时嘴里发出声响
美国人很敏感，如果你吃饭的声音特别大被让他们觉得恶心反胃，进而觉得你没有礼貌和教养。细嚼慢咽，轻声细语才是王道。
5.一边嚼食物一边说话
嘴里有食物的时候最好就不要说话了，如果这个时候别人跟你说话或者发问，可以选择先咽下食物再说话，如果特别想说什么的话用手遮住嘴巴也是可以的，总之就是不要让别人可以看见你嘴里的食物。
6. 用餐完毕后离席
美国餐桌在所有人吃完之前离席是很不礼貌的，电影里面经常有美国小孩吃完饭就离开了其实是为了说明那些小孩没有礼貌哦，千万不要学他们，耐着性子等一等其他人吧。
